This is one of the great whiskies, and it is now under £50 a bottle excluding delivery. The P&P of £4.95 covers you for any number of bottles up more than you can afford (double figures). They have a few others on offer but this is an absolute standout.

So it is a 70cl bottle @48% of 18 year old whisky from the best malt island in the world.

An ideal Christmas present for yourself (and me), stock up at this price.

Absolutely true about it being cheaper but the taste of the L18 is amazing. Well worth the extra £30+ a bottle.

The advantage of FG is that I do not cry when motherinlaw adds coke to it
Cracking whisky at an excellent price.

Their Clynelish 14YO at under £25 a bottle is also worth getting for the contrast. It's very nicely balanced similar in style to some of the less sherried Speysides but with a little extra spice / saltiness and the slightest hint of smoke.

If placing an order, a bottle or two of Merry's White Chocolate liqueur minatures at a pound a pop make nice stocking fillers (adult stockings only of course)!

Rufus.
Good recommendation as a contrast. There are a few other whiskies at excellent prices too. The Clynelish is a tempter!
You can get quidco too
I'm sure it's great if you love the taste but if you've never tried it before, please, please go and smell a bottle of TCP first and consider if you'd drink that (don't actually drink it). I'm being serious. Laphroaig is that peaty.

You are thinking of the most excellent 10yo - this is the much more smoother 18 - try it! If you do not like it, then send me the rest of the bottle
Excellent price. I would go for it if i hadn't just picked up a bottle of the quartercask that is on special offer at Waitrose at the moment for £24.95
