That was not on sale, but if you want to invest a little extra then go for it

The 10yo was £28 last week. It'll be back on offer again soon, it always is.
Amazon prices:

Laphroaig Select: £26 - lowest: £19.99 - average: £26.30
Laphroaig 10 yr old: £36 - lowest £24.99 - average: £29.24

The 10 is a lot better than the Select. If the 10 isn't on offer, I find both the Lidl and Aldi Islay single malts to be as good as the Select (if not better), and only £17.50.
I'm sure someone posted the 10 for £18 at coop a few months back, I missed out on it, gutted!!

That offer was in one single store in Glasgow.

Well, lowest published on hukd has been around £19 - a one-off coop discount in Glasgow.

This has been posted on hukd many times for the past year with an average price of £25 and always went hot at this price.
The quarter cask is better than them both! Although haven't seen it around the £25 mark for a while...
I always find either makes the Coke I mix it with taste bad 😳

Tastes much better on its own or on the rocks

Really.
It's really bad, don't waste your money!
Laphroaig Lite. If you don't like Laphroaig drink something else, but not this. Equivalent to a Vesta Curry, for people who don't like curry. Awful, Just awful, regardless of price. As others have said, get the 10 as a minimum, and some water.

I can vouch for the Aldi islay single malt, outstanding value for money!

10 or Select. I'd definitely save the pennies for the 10. It will be near £28 again.

Keeping my eye out for quarter cask offers.

Indeed, love the 10yo, but would buy the Aldi Islay rather than the Laphroaig Select.
From what I've read this is unfortunately one to avoid.

Yes it has the name but apparantly the flavours are all wrong with none of the usual Laphroaig notes.

My fave is the quarter cask by far but I must say other than a 10yr that had sat open in grandads drink cabinet for about 20year I've not tried a "fresh" 10

This single malt is on offer at this current time. If one prefers the quarter cask, then it is their choice to pay more for it. This site is about posting deals some people may find good value and this particular whisky is on discount at this particulat time.
I just finished a bottle, I thought it was pretty good and very true to the Laphroig spirit, not as good as the age stated stuff, but certainly the best of the NAS ones doing the rounds of late.
