Fresh? Very doubtful. No chillers there for this, kept out in middle of store to rot in the heat. And no dates on them, meaning they can sell rotting stuff for as long as they like.

Cold.

I've never had rotten fruit from Aldi, they're kept in chillers in the back before being displayed, and they do have dates on in week number and day number format

only in that you part with less money

Bluberry jam - Simmer 300g and a small apple for 15 minutes.
Add 150g sugar - simmer for 5 more minutes.
Pot in clean 454g jar. eat remainder.

500g for £2 at Morrissons with a mix and match 2 for £3. How is this a good deal?

Thanks for letting us all know for the third time, it's getting a bit tedious and repetitive now.

Almost as tedious as reading **** 'deals'

Talking about your own deals there? 3 in 3 years, impressive! Are we due another one sometime soon?

All real deals. I should have posted the Morrisons deal rather than have non deals posted by you. Close the 'deal' and stop wasting people's money.

Your store sells them in the wrong place then, they should be in a chiller, they are in my local. Also they do have dates on them, but they are in code system, and nothing is sold out of date.

We're pretty much in blackberry season now so check your local hedges etc for free food. They taste better than blueberries anyway imho and don't need to be flown half way round the world. ;-)

I'd hardly call Spain and Poland half way round the world.

Really? Last one's I had were from Chile I think. Still unnecessary air miles unless you really like blueberries.

I love them. Buy some British strawberries, cherries, blackberries or raspberries if air miles bother you.

I think buying blackberries from the supermarket this time of year is even worse. Granted not everywhere has blackberries a plenty but there really are tonnes of fresh ones out there waiting to be picked at the moment. The only agro is the process of picking them and locating them, although that's not such a big deal imo.

If you find a good patch, pick buckets full of them and shove them in the freezer. They're easier to wash too once they're frozenn.
