I can barely remember the original taste now
Can't find it on line?
Says Merry CHRISTMAS on the box...not even had Halloween yet for Christ's sake.
I do not understand why people complain about the taste of Cadbury. In my opinion, it is the best chocolate available and I can't say I have ever notice it change.

Maybe my taste buds aren't are great as other people? Or maybe I'm not old enough to remember an 'old' taste? I'm 27.

Or is it just hatred because an American company bought it? Genuine question too. My partner also says she hasn't noticed a difference.

It now has a greasy undertaste, its subtle but its there. Plus theres a slight grittyness to all Cadbury chocolate now.

It reminds me of cheap, shop brand hot chocolate.

Definitly not the same recipe as before.

There never was a change apart from the palm oil I believe, it's just what people get into their heads which was the Americans took over and changed it all which simply didn't happen. I love chocolate, have it for breakfast sometimes, I've never once noticed the change in dairy milk. It's just like the creme egg situation, were the majority of people think they got smaller which has never happened in the UK market. Yet I bet everyone knows multiple people that will repeat the myth that Cadbury creme eggs are smaller than ever before.
Don't buy any product from Mondelez/Kraft. Their blatant profiteering has ruined some of the most best-loved British brands.

Poor poster. All this has nothing to do with the deal. Heat.
Out of stock for me.

Personally it's less creamy, more sugary . It used to be a stand out chocolate, also chocolate is as good imo now.

How can you trust the opinion of someone that has chocolate for breakfast? I never even understood chocolate flavoured cereals for breakfast, it's just weird. I still like dairy milk anyway...
Where has the other 150g gone?

Totally agree!

I cannot eat chocolate but a bar of Cadbury's bought as a gift is always appreciated by my friends and family no matter what their age.

For the majority of people claiming that it is 'nothing like the original' to be frank, I am surprised that you are lucid indeed alive enough to remember original Cadbury's flavours?

That is unless you are all the original 'Walking Dead???'
Morrison's just like Argos of old once again claiming to be 'Out of Stock'!!!
Twirl is the only one with the same taste, my fav whole nut I don’t buy anymore
They were 1kg a long time ago I'm sure they've been 850g for years.

It is daft, just make it 1kg and charge more.

I disagree with people saying the taste has changed. I have no preference I prefer some of the supermarkets own milk chocolate in some ways.

Available to add again if you wanted to
Seems all large chocolate makers are changing their recipe. Tried a Milkybar the other day, was like eating a bar of wax; it had no flavour and barely even melted on the tongue. Had a white chocolate kitkat and that was a similar tasteless waxy experience.

I'm 30 and I think it tastes just as bad now as it always has. Can't stand the stuff really.

Tastes like vegetable oil and sadness. Which is what it tasted like in the early 90s too.

Good afternoon Pamela

Thanks for contacting us

I'm really sorry to hear you have had difficulty getting hold of promotion stock. When an item is on offer it does tend to fly off of the shelves alot faster than normal.

I have passed your comments on to the buying team so they can increase the amount sent into stores when offers are on.

Kind regards

Atif Hussain
