Ah, it's an indoor ornament, thought initially it was an outdoor garden one.
Would have be perfect placed near my pond at the bottom of the garden, Guess it won't stand up to the good old British weather outside thou.

Quacking deal
Er... why would I want this again?

Also..."carved wooden"...then "hand finished" (what's the legal definition of that? Someone dropped it into a box?)..then finally "resin". Hmmm.
It mentions resin so maybe weather protected. I love mine
Argos are a bit misleading with their title - large carved wooden duck figurine - when it’s actually made of resin.
Lol

Wooden or Resin?

Says carved "wood-effect" so I'd imagine 0% wood!

Save this in a Sainsbury's store today for the same price.
Didn't really have a close look but I thought it was wood.
For all my crude knock-off plastic duck needs.
Would a heron be scared of this? Had one trying to clear my pond of fish, got some plastic pond protecter rings on it but he's still finding a way to push them into the water. I know you can get the plastic heron but that just isn't working, move them and he just seems to know it's fake and walks past it not giving a dam.

The number of times I’ve thought to myself the one thing I’m missing in my life is a large carved wooden duck - and today, finally the day has come

Eureka
Small bill for such a nice duck. Heat added
What?

Surley would be fine outside as made of resin
It's resin and they break really easily. Not good quality at all
They are probably trying to horn in on a UK company that makes real wooden duck figurines.

DCUK hand make them from solid found/fallen wood, so each duck is unique (and around double the Argos price).

I know this because we sell them in our family shop.

Only double? That's good. I don't want a duck but other stuff would be good.
A practice target for duck hunters?

Mostly sell toys, but a few ornaments and scarves etc.

The ducks are a steady seller, especially as they can have customised name tags made for them. Unlike the Argos ones, the DCUK ones also have spotty welly boots and/or hats.

I forgot to say, the wood they use is pear tree; so they have a beautiful grain.
