Just tried it - it has 3 slots :-
1 for paper
1 for credit cards
1 for CD's
chewed credit card up with no effort and same with the blank CD I just wasted:thumbsup:
Yes instore only hence pictures of receipt:thumbsup:

Same here. Only had it go wrong once, put far too much paper in it and had to take it to bits and manually pull all the bits out, worked fine ever since.
Pro's:
1. Also does CDs and Debit/Credit Cards etc
2. Cross Cut
3. Fairly decent bin size
4. Cuts off if lid removed (safety requirement for all I think?)
Con's:
1. Struggles significantly if you try any amount over 2 sheets (or mine does and hasn't been misused with staples etc like my last...)
2. Overheats quicker than I personally would expect even when using single sheets only
Go buy one at a tenner, you'd be a fool to miss it for 'casual use' its great!!
H & R will be added.
So as a cross shredder it cuts into little chunks rather than long strips?
yup, cuts it into confetti like bits.
Good for general use.
Have a different shredder which i use less now due to getting statements online, going green u see :P
Heated regardless of my bitterness
Security level 2 which is not as good as my previous shredder, but it is quieter, and has a larger capacity metal mesh basket.
The only downside is the mesh basket - it allows quite a lot of shredding dust to be dispersed. However, you can get round that by placing a bag in the basket.
Great piece of kit at a great price.
Took it to a different till, 5 mins later..............still the same!
I want it for £10!!
Will try Tuesday morn again, INCASE!
:whistling:
CD slot and Card slot are really good too!
shredded bits of paper would work well with this...
Those things are crap, I gave up on mine too much hassle, now use my own method of soaking the papers whole, then rolling one around a broom handle then another one over that tightly, slide the handle out put paper on floor, couple of whacks with lump hammer and job done, much quicker less messy and burn great once dried out.
Can do each one in about 30 seconds (not including 2-3 dayssoaking).
saved me the trip cheers.
it's still scanning @ £29.99!!
Not fair!
I think they had 1 left.
