make sure you treat it first with good wood preservative and then use a plastic liner if you really want it to last for more
than a coupe of years
These are quite nice if fitted out correctly, but very flimsy. Had to patch mine up a few times due to the wind/weather knocking them for 6

what's plastic liner for,the bottom, could I just use a bin bag
ohh none in stock so dm
I got this last year, when it was a similar price. It's smaller than I expected, but I managed to plant three lots of cherry tomato plants, and set it against a wall. It's sturdy and does the job.

But, as mentioned above, paint some wood preserve on it BEFORE putting it together, and then line it with a bin bag, and it'll last you a fair few years.

I've got more toms growing in mine this year

Out of stock in Scunny, HOT deal though.
Also if not fixing trellis to a wall put in some bricks or stones to weigh it down a bit as with a large amount of leaf growth can act like a sail.
Posted few weeks ago, no stock then and no stock now
House of Bath have the same items in stock ' at half price' - its something like £40 for a pack of 2 - however you get 20% off your first order .., so I ordered 2 x pack of 2 so got 4 for somnething like £64 including delivery and they came in 3 days .. Literally came yesterday and put them up - they look good (flimsy) but up against a wall or something - look very good - 3' long x 1' deep x 4' high

Bargain - ish from House of Bath
Everyone keep checking to see if it is in stock my local said out of stoke for ages and then boom in stoke and I’m collecting it on the 28th Of May which is my birthday. The same happened to me in Wickes with something and I kept looking three times a day and boom again in stock. Maby not good for my bank balance but I’m a happy lady I’ve wanted one of these for ages. Thanks for posting x
Picked this up today, it comes with a liner. Thanks

Poor quality. Ended in the bin after a week

Without it the wet soil is in perminant contact with the wood and it will rot quickly without a preservative. Bin bag better than nothing but too thin and stretches too easily really

That said, would echo other comments here that this is very bad quality. Better shopping about for a better one or finding a nice one on gumtree

Others are commented that they are happy with it... Did you actually buy one?

Yes, I bought to. I’ll dig up the Argos receipt if you want. I got it from Edgware Road store which isn’t my local one.

Had mine a couple of months since the were last this price. Not ‘Large’ as in how you think, they’re good value but take note of the dimensions
Absolute garbage. Bought one last time, some people have had a good experience but the one I got was shockingly crap
