I can't believe how much they have been ripping us off up to now! They are probably still making massive profits on them. Probably the only loosers are the minimum wage chocolate packers!

Great price though so asda here I come:thumbsup:

When does this start cause I was in asda yesterday and they were £5 each!

Sound like a great deal

I doubt that, these are probably a loss leader to get footfall up and get you spending on other stuff while you are there, if not a loss leader they are probably only making pennies rather than pounds.

Heat added-anyone got a half price code for weigh watchers

If you lot work for asda do some work then and change the price at store to reflect the correct price instead of leaving it at the wrong higher price. What a sales technique. :?

1st - I never hit expire, but surely you can understand why some did?
If you had put the source of your info in the original post then others would have understood better.
Don't go blaming others for the lack of information in your posts.

I've just been speaking to my mate, he read in a retail publication that the supermarkets placed these orders months ago because they thought the ingerdient cost was goint to increase, but the price has started to drop and they now need to get rid of the stock piles. Dont know if this is true or not but he normally knows what he is talking about. Apparentyl easter eggs were also ordered months ago, so come easter - expect to get some bargains.

just a note as the heading state LARGE they are for the Small tins Only

Bought mine this morning - applies to Roses, Quality Street, Mingles, Heroes and Chocolate Orange segments. Huge piles of them at my local Asda!

before long they will be paying us to take them away.voted hot

nope not the small tins they are actually medium cuz you can get a smaller tin in some varieties and a bigger tin is some too

But fwiw I knew what the op meant as the large and the small tins are not stocked as much as the medium and also they have been on offer everywhere recently

I've just got two tins of 'Mingles' at £7 in my local ASDA.
Also had 'Heroes', 'Quality Street' and 'Roses' same offer

Great deal. Wish hadn't bought at 5 quid last month as held off last year and all the deals disappeared in December!!
