Las Vegas, USA - Trip for 1/2 People for 3 Nights Hotel Stay on the Strip with LGW Flights, Circus Circus Hotel & Return Transfers
Was taking a look at some Vegas pricing as I've been looking to go for a fairly long time and I found this deal. Flights, Hotel & Transfers for a single travel for £374, £359.50 for 2 people (£719 for 2 people total)
Return flights for one person from LGW with Norwegian. Flight from 12:10 to 15:00 on Jan 15th 2018. Return to UK from 17:00 departing Vegas Mccarran and back to Gatwick for 10:50 am on the next day on the 19th January.
Hotel for 3 nights would be the Circus Circus Hotel on the strip at £49 total for 3 Nights! It is a budget hotel, with 3.5* start on Tripadvisor and 7/10 on Booking.com.
Minibus Transfer from airport to Circus Circus is £15 pp return, saving a lot of hassle to start and end your trip!

You can stay at the Luxor or Excalibur for not much more.
The difference being:
At the Mandalay Bay our doorman opened the door for us and wished us a nice day...
At Circus Circus their doorman opened his jacket and asked "do you wanna see a titty show?"!
I kid you not!

Lol, quite right about Circus Circus but the Luxor and Excalibur are right up the other end!
I'm getting a cheaper rate for the week after with Norwegian, at £296.80
Harrah's had a room refurbishment last year, they look quite nice.
Nope she would count as 3/4 people lol
Like the sound of that.
You need to stay somewhere nicer
You need to use uber or Lyft from maccarran airport to hotel.
Other than that...cheap deal
This deal is cold, three days is not enough and the hotel is nowhere near the main attractions.
That deal is fine and CC is okay, if you have kids, but no. It is not central.
Do Luxor, Excalibur for south strip or Flamingo or Bally's for North Strip.
3 days are but a taster!! I have fk tons of info for you.
PM me if you are interestted.
Agree about uber too, I think it cost me $11 in a merc to get from Mcaran to the MGM. I'd prob do 5 days too, that is enough, 3 will be a bit rushed, 7 is too long
I would avoid Circus Circus. It is nowhere near the main stretch of the Strip plus it looked awful from the outside.
I'd also advise looking into Hotel taxes and resort fees as this drive the cost up considerably.
A week was too long but 3 days would be too short.
Norwegian won't travel in the summer season to Vegas because of the heat. You'll be able to go Virgin / BA but these dates aren't traditionally cheap. Rather than buy now or wait - just keep an eye on prices and see if they're going up or down every few days or so. A great price for flights those months would be for £550pp direct so if you see anything near that - go for it.

Saw David Copperfield this time round. I still can't figure out how he did stuff, and I was less than 10 metres from the stage.
Great price to get there, even if CircusCircus is a little grim. No worse than a Travelodge or similar.
I loved Vegas, there's so much more than just the Strip, and 3 days is very short considering the duration of the flights, possible jet lag (fortunately never affected us) etc.
Wouldn't stay at Circus Circus personally but did visit the hotel casino, theme park area etc. one evening and it wasn't that bad, just rather chavvy (no idea what the rooms are like). We stayed at Palazzo which is at the north end of the strip, far more expensive than Circus Circus or Excalibur but very nice and would only stay there/Venetian or the Wynn/Encore.
Also great if you can get flights with a stopover at somewhere else on the way there or back, we had a 9 hour stopover in Toronto on the way out there so got to visit Niagara Falls.
its perfectly acceptable deal if you dont plan to sleep!
lot of effort for an hour visit!
Assuming 4hr round trip, 2hrs back in the airport for check in. You must have only had 2 1/2 hours at the falls - though thats longer than I would want to spend at Clifton Hill!
vegas hotels charge a daily resort fee think its about $35 a day at mgm resorts might be wrong aint paid them in years
defo do a tourbus to hoover dam as you find out alot of information about vegas on the drive there.
also its quite a drive to the south of grand canyon again wanna do a helicopter really.
3 days is perfect for a 1st trip,
my 1st time was 2 nights on a 11 night holiday, beem back to vegas 12 times since ranging from 5 nights to 12 nights.
