What's wrong with normal hazard lights?

nice. could double up as go faster stripes:w00t: one on either side of the car.

Saw a woman today who really could have used one of these. She was stood in the middle of the A55 in front of her broken down car, casually calling someone on her mobile as traffic raced by inches away from her. Typically she decided to park her car on the fast lane instead of the nice grassy embankment on t'other side. How she thought THAT was a good idea just defies any logical reasoning i could come up with.

Perhaps she was unable to pull back in once her car lost power and slowed down with everyone undertaking her. Maybe the people in the other lanes seeing what had happened should have shown some consideration and stopped in advance allowing her to get to safety. It's easy to blame her when there's so many other w*****s on the road.

How long do you think a car battery will last with your hazards on?

Answer :

Not that long! As I've experienced ;-(

nope just a lady drive, i think.

Dependant on the colour of the LED's this may not comply with the traffic lighting regs. You may be ticketed for using it.
Lighting regs are are strict on flashing and colour of rear facing lghts.

Perhaps she was an idiot that didn't realise pulling in and not standing in front of her car while it's incapacitated was a better idea, who knows? Nobody was there and all other comments on it are conjecture.

Its amazing how many times I see people broken down and standing at the side of the road "in front" of the car. The rules state that you need to be at the side of the road "behind" the car. Because when your car gets hit from behind by some bozo on a mobile, all of the broken glass, etc is going to go forward not backward. I speak from experience.

Dangerous. And not needed.
