What a pleasant change - someone taking a bit of a light heated ribbing as it was meant - a bit of fun.

Happy new year to you :-)

I was going to suggest that that might happen. Seems like a good idea, but we've been using normal spirit levels for years because it s, and will always be, the best method. I can only imagine this might be useful for wall papering or fitting false ceilings, but i still think I'd rather use a normal level.

Don't mean to be negative cos it's a great price but I had one of these and found it so hard to use cos you have to get it perfectly level first. By the time you've done that you may as well have used the normal spirit level. IMHO a much better version is the one with a self leveling gimble so it is always level, I bought one at a local diy shop for @ £20 a year or two ago then threw the old one away.

I was keen on this until I picked up on this detail: Max. height with tripod, approx (cm): 32.5

As mentioned by crischalk, a self-levelling gimble would also make this much more useful.
