hottttttttt

I picked this up in Lancaster yesterday.

Looked like it was flying off the shelves, as there was only one copy left, and loads of copies of all the other books.

Great deal!

In Manchester area it's Quality Save, don't know if it's the same group.

Home Bargains also have David Attenborough's Life Stories for the same price. (£10.57 at Amazon.)

You're right TheProf it is posted here ]http//ww…har

not a bad book but the original's better
good price though

awesome. the programme was great. will hopefully pop into to one on the way to the grandparents tomorrow...

I thought it was a great programme, apart from the bits with that Carwadine chap in it, he had the capacity to suck any joy out of a room in record time. :?

Hot for the Fry.....Not for the Carwadine :whistling:

Hot hot hot. There were loads in the Bedworth store just now and loads of the David Attenborough book too. Call me a snob, but given the typical clientèle the store seems to attract, I can't imagine they're going to be flying off the shelves unless lots of people who read hotukdeals go in. If like me you've never been to the Bedworth Store before then you might like to know that you stand pretty much zero chance of parking in the carpark that's outside the store. Find a side street nearby.

If you think that Mark Carwadine sucks the joy from the room then be warned that the book is written by him. Only the foreword is by Stephen Fry.

rep added to OP. great find. one of my favourite tv series from last year.

agree with hopscotch - picked it up (along with david attenborough (rep added to TheProf aswell as OP) in cannock on the way to my grandparents - loads left and not flying off the shelves. if only they looked inside they'd realise there's lots of pictures for them to look at even if they can read the words! :whistling:

I echo your sentiments about the 'Beddarth' (as the locals call it) store, it used to be grim up north, now it's grim in the midlands too - lol
