Last minute? There's days left yet - what happened to putting up the tree and buying presents on Christmas eve?
Poor tree has to be cut and sold cheaply just to be trown away a few days after Christmas.
Not at Daybook, Nottingham
Wickes in Gosforth had all theirs pinched last week. (They forgot to bring them in at night)

I was in my local B&Q in Exeter about 2 hours ago and they were certainly not selling the 6ft trees at that price. The cheapest tree was the small Nordman Fir (£8) and they had sold out. I picked up a medium-sized Nordman Fir for £10 which had been reduced from £29 (only two left at the time). However, when I asked if I could have the tree netted, I was told that they had no netting left and that it had been used up earlier in the day. Because I have a relatively large car I was able to put the back seats down and get the tree in. A customer in front of me had picked up one that must have been over 7ft tall and said he did not want it when they told him there was no netting left. This was a B&Q Superstore so I was surprised that they did not have any more netting left considering how many trees were still available.
Great deal op.

That is what we got a medium Nordman. Still should be nice. We wanted a new stand as well but they were also OOS. I remember years ago they had plenty left on the 24th for 1p. I would only put my tree up on the 24th anyway so that was great for us. Now with my son wanting it early he gets a few extra days. Also cant risk to go on the 24th as they have less stock now.

You're right. I left it too late about 2 years ago. I held out to see if the prices would drop considerably and when I did go to get a tree I couldn't find one anywhere, so we had to put the artificial tree back up. My tree is now in the stand and watered, but not decorated yet - I'll let my son do that tomorrow.

Ours still in the car. Probably moves to the garage tomorrow and might be to the stand on Thursday and my son can decorate it on Friday. and most likely my 11 months old will pull it down on Saturday
