You only need to watch one episode. Is the same story every time after that - a long walk through the town, tea in the cafe and then Nora Batty standing on a ladder so you can see her tights.
See also Are You Being Served and Allo Allo.
I want to know how that village survived, you never saw anyone under the age of 40.

Having some issues it should be in electronics
The Michael Bates episodes are the best and Forked Lightning is hysterical.
Watched an episode the other night on some obscure channel, a weekend away in Scarborough from 1976........it was dire.
This SERIES has always been pap!
Its like the Inbetweeners but set in the 80s

You could say that about loads of great shows;

Dad's Army, Dukes of Hazzard, Columbo, Cheers, Midsomer Murders, Quantum Leap, M*A*S*H, King of The Hill, Peep Show, Still Game and Yes, (Prime) Minister are examples of such in my diverse collection I can think of.
