This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

This model is the newest 2019 model 27UL600, it is certified to be HDR400 and has DisplayPort 1.4 for the additional bandwidth.

Was£299.99 + £2.39 Economy Delivery. Now reduced to £249.98 + £2.39 economy delivery. It's a way better value than the older 2018 model 27UK600 that is selling at £349.59 on Amazon.

The previous model is 27UK600 (2018), which is rated only HDR10 and has DisplayPort 1.2. Everything else is the same, such as the shape and colour, just the guts are updated\.

There are multiple models from LG if you wish to have adjustable stand or speakers

27UL600 = Basic Model
27UL650 = Height adjustable stand
27UL850 = USB-C Hub and 2x5W Speakers

Sadly the deal does not apply to the higher models, I've read the speakers are terrible and there is a VESA mount anyway for you to mount it on your own stand.

Specifications:
-27" IPS Matt Screen
-16:9 Aspect Ratio
-Colour Depth 1.07 Billion
-3840 x 2160 resolution

-Connectivity
  • 2x HDMI 2.0
  • 1x Display Port 1.4
  • 1x Headphone audio out

-Tilt only stand

-Dimensions
  • Set (with Stand)
    613.1 x 209.4 x 455.2
  • Set (without Stand)
    613.1 x 73.0 x 364.4

What's the difference between 27ul600 and 27ul600-W?
Really tempted to get this to hook up to a xbox one x.
Wonder how good this would look with a PS4 pro

I assume it's the same model, 'W' should be the colour 'White'.
How good is this Monitor compared to its rivals?
Just ordered this one, has good reviews on the LG website and on Reddit.

Will be using it with a Xbox One X and hooked up to my laptop.

How good is this Monitor compared to its rivals?

The next best rival newest model in the same price range bracket is the
Acer VG270G
Advantages:
-2x 2 watts speakers
-1ms Visual Response Boost
-Audio in port
-lighter without stand
-slimmer without stand (hard to believe this as the LG 2018 model is 4.3cm from rtings.com/mon…0-w they have very good clear photos)

Disadvantage
-Only HDR Ready, doesn't state HDR10 nor HDR400
-Max brightness is 300 nits, hence why it's not HDR400. (LG range is 350-400 max nits)
-Displayport 1.2

Both the Acer VG270G and the LG 27UL600 are the same price right now, though there seems to be alot of lottery for buying Aver monitor.

For £300 price bracket, non that I know of. That matches this requirement:
-4K UHD resolution
-27" screen
-Matt
-Thin borders
-FreeSync
-HDMI 2.0
-Has a displayport (good for variable refresh rate)
-Less than 6.5cm thickness

If you want to increase your budget to £400 BenQ PD2700U, that has speakers and USB 3.0 hub and more DisplayPorts

Great price for great monitor... But only 60HZ...
Am I missing something? :/

Yeah only 60Hz, though most people can't run 4K over 60fps let alone 144Hz for gaming. There are now 4K 144Hz with IPS screen in the market for £900-1200 if you really need the fastest screen
I've got the 27UK600 and will highly recommend it to anyone with a PS4 PRO or XBOX One X. I used to have a non HDR 4K monitor...HDR adds a new level.

Is 27UL600 successor of your 27UK600?

Yeah I agree with you as most people can't play at 4K with more than 60fps. But it would be nice to have the feature of 144Hz. 4K is good for photo or video editing and 144Hz (1080p) for gaming.

Now £249.99 :O
I got this on the 12 months option, going to give them a call.
This is now £249! Same link
Just off the phone they are just taking £50 off the credit agreement.
Edited the deal to the new reduced £249.98 pricing. Enjoy all
Got mine set up, very nice especially at £249.

Got any photos?

Yeah £249 is cheap for 4K 27" right now for latest specifications with HDR. I think Novatech got too many in stock. I've decided to go with the ugly monitor (£199) as I needed two, now I'm scratching my head. Though it all the same panels just the brightness, newer software and hardware for handling HDR.

Let us know how it looks in HDR
Paid £300. Had a chat with novatech this morning and been refunded £50.

works out great for you
Ordered OP thanks. Looks great with the PS4. Why is the not roasting?
Thank you, ordered one today
I was hoping for something over 60hz for a 2019 model with freesync, even if just a little bit. Nevermind
Ordered. Waited for this one! Thanks!
Ticks all the boxes for a multimedia designer. Shame it doesn’t have usb c but a £20 usb c hub will sort that all out. Postage to N.Ireland was £14.99... still a bargain.

Would I notice a big difference with this over my current AOC u2879vf ?

Would I notice a big difference with this over my current AOC u2879vf ?

Your U2879VF monitor is an 28" TN Panel, this 27" IPS is slower in response time 1ms to 5ms. Though you would benefit in better vertical and horizontal viewing angles, and brighter screen from 300 nits to 400 nits.

I prefer IPS panels cause of the colour shift from TN panels, but you should go to a electronic store if you really want to see if you can notice the differences

Thanks, I decided to go with it, with the 1.5% Quidco cashback for the sake of it.

I've been using this other monitor for 3 years now so itll be nice to go from 300 to 400 nits, IPS, 91% RGB to 99% Spectrum, and HDR400 Cert too.

Should be able to sell my current one for £150 ish to make up a good chunk of then cost.
