Delivery starts at £5.99 (but gets cheaper with the more you buy, finally getting to a free delivery when you spend over £40.00)
see cpc.farnell.com/jsp…jsp

BTW. these offers are included in the latest CPC's leaflets dated 9th Spetember to 13th October but these dates are known to be extended most times. Therefore I'm not sticking on the end date in case the system automatically expires it when some things are still there.

Will post the products I find in the next post to include pictures so no one touch!

And why the cold hit?!

Because I took the time to find the codes worked (out of a 31 page leaflet...), products were in fact in stock, and to type it all out including pictures? Anyone care to explain after you press the button!

EDIT: cheers dinostevus

Thanks for all the cheers and reputation, my bar's gone up by 4 since the start of this post and I got my first front page! since the change over to the new layout Woohoo.

Shows hard work does pay off.

DON'T BUY AT CPC.FARNELL.COM

The customer service is just one of the worse I've ever experienced. I placed an order and the shipping got stop for no reason. When I contacted them I spoke to someone call Lloyd in the CPC component house. He then asked me to send a cheque to pay for the order so he could be sure I wasn't trying to commit some kind of fraud. So I did, I sent a check for the amount of GBP50.64 (the total value including VAT) FAO Lloyd, who told me that once the check got clearance the goods would be ship to me. Well so 2 week passed by and... nothing. So after checking with my bank that the checque had been indeed cashed out on the 4th of November i decided to CPC again. At this point, it was Friday, 21st of November.
After I told them my order reference number guess what... such order didn't exist! So I was passed to a different department where I had to explain the whole thing all over again. After talking to some Alex Shorrock I was told that Lloyd was, in fact, working no longer for CPC, and that he had left the company about a couple of weeks ago. At this point, I couldn't help myself but to think that I had been scammed. Alex then told me that I would have to send them a copy of my bank statement so I could prove that I had actually paid a check to CPC Farnell Group, to which my answer was that NO PAYEE APPEARS IN A BANK STATEMENT, only the cheque number. 20 minutes of useless conversation goes by until I demand to speak to someone who would take responsibility for this Lloyd/CPC/Fanell/Sales-department fiasco. His answer was as follows "I transfer you to accounts ANYWAYS", the subtext is obvious: I don't care, so I'll pass the ball, whatever. I'd like to point out at this time that I was not rude at anytime, as, based on my experience, if the other part had enough of you they'll just hang up the phone on you with the hope that if you do phone them again, someone else will pick up the call.
So, ANYWAYS, Alex puts me on hold. After a while he gets back on the line and tells me that he has spoken to the accounts department himself and that the order has been released. I should receive it, he says, on Monday 24th or Tuesday 25th. Oh, and, by the way, that Lloyd that left the company, he tells me, is a different Lloyd...
So, on Tuesday the 25th, with no order to be seen anywhere, I called them back. This time I speak to Lloyd ('the Lloyd'), who tells me the order was sent on Saturday. He also gives me a new order reference number and tells me that 1 of the items is not in stock, so I will receive it in 2 weeks time.
The order came this afternoon (27th). From the 11 items I had ordered:
ONLY 1 HAS BEEN RECEIVED
The invoice reads as follow:
1 item is no longer stocked and it won't be delivered at all
1 item will be sent in 14 to 21 days
AND THERE IS NO MENTIONED TO THE OTHER 8 ITEMS I HAVE ORDERED AND PAID FOR

Now, here's the funny part. THERE IS A CHEQUE ATTACHED TO THE INVOICE IN WHICH THEY ASK ME TO PAY FOR THE ONE ITEM DELIVERED

My advice: Stay away from CPC, Don't trust Lloyd, and don't let Alex mess you up.
I'll be giving them a call back tomorrow. I am extremely unhappy and will be asking for a refund (which I was told by Lloyd I was entitled to in our first conversation, shall any of the item be no longer stocked or not delivered) for the rest of the order, and the only reason I'm keeping the one I got sent is because I can foreseen a lot of trouble in returning the item/receiving a refund.

Let's see what they say

John
