I was looking for one of these, to flat dry jumpers...could omebody run down to Lidl and get me one?!
Just got back from Lidl, they had a ton of these. Bought the £13.99 airing tower instead, because it takes up less space when unfolded.

The other half is trying to assemble it as I type this... I think I should put her out of her misery... or should I ¿ ?

The wife literally just walked in with one of these, carried it 2k, hard as nails she is.
Whey too big when unfolded, would block an entire room.
What's the point of these, as mine never seem to dry without smelling a but iffy otherwise I have the one in the second pic thanks to my mum who picked it up at a car boot sale. I have to keep mine right next to the radiator when using it, hence I bought a washer dryer less fuss for me. If there's a knack to using them please let me know as electricity usage is killing me!

Usually iffy smelling laundry is caused by it sitting in the machine too long AND the machine being a little fusty.

To keep the machine smeling fresh use whites powder (Liquids and gels don't contain bleach) at least once a month on a 60 degree wash - do your towels or bedding in this wash maybe.

To keep the washing smelling fresh remove it as soon as possible and get it on the airer.
@M_at my machine is lovely clean as I give it a vinegar rinse every month and clean all parts of it so thats not the prob, only time clothes smell funny is when I dry on one of the racks. Otherwise no prob on the line or through the dryer, also clothes are usually out within 5 mins of the wash finishing so none of you examples apply to me. Must be something else I'm doing wrong!

In my experience, the clothes smell funny if you let them dry in a cold room (it takes too long to dry) without taking them out for fresh air (or open a window).

I hope this helps.

Smelly washing machines are usually a result of always using non bio powder. Every so often do a wash with biological powder.
