Introducing a solution for these common bathroom problems. It's called the Lav Nav and which is short for Lavatory Navigator.

How this device works is very simple. When you approach it in the dark the light turns on thanks to its sophisticated sensor. Such technology makes the toilet a lot safer and easier to see at night without irritating your partner. Bathroom lights can be painfully bright in the middle of the night. So why switch them on?

The Lav Nav is perfect for those nights where you are staggering around trying to find the pee-hole. The Lav Nav Incorporates a night-light, visual targeting system, and "Put the damned seat down!" reminder technology, the Lav Nav is a practical solution to those familiar issues.

Lav Nav Lavatory Navigator

As if by magic, the Lav Nav light comes on when you approach in the dark, and turns off after you leave, shining gentle yet sufficient light where you need it, when you need it.

Better yet, the Lav Nav uses a red or greed light to cleverly show the position of the seat. It's very bright, very fun and above all else very useful!

this would scare me

ha yes would of
if i had of gone toilet in the night and it was glowing green

I love it!!! Want one

We are very lucky, there is a street light right behind our house, so we can see the toilet anyhow (although it's a lovely shade of orange) without turning the light on - but I might get this for the parents who live in the sticks so when it's dark, it's very very dark!

Have some heat

I can't imagine small children wanting to use the toilet if one of those things is lighting it up.

Why not just put the light on? (_;)

bought one of these a while ago as a joke gift....turned out to be a great, practical little item...unobtrusive and works a treat.....I think they were cheaper on 7dayshop....but still worth some heat

so stupid thing

the whole point of them is that you dont have to put the light on...so you've obviously missed the point

Some children can't reach the light switch if they wake up to go to the toilet in the middle of the night so heat added from me!

Looks pretty but is really dirty

That's the way I like them!

Lav Nav Lavatory Navigator ..............

does this have GPS and can I put TomTom on it ?

:-)

It looks like one of those cool things only when it's new but later in a longer run all I can see is cleaning issues.

Pound shop torch.................

Overpriced gimmicky load of rubbish.

Buy a wall pushlight ( pack of 3 from the pound shop )
90 AA batteries (£9 from the pound shop or 10 for a pound)

Will last longer than this and is cheaper.

voted hot. had one for years. reallh good idea. If u put the light on i the middle of the night it wakes you or your other half right up. hard to get back to sleep!!

Another useless gift that You'll use until either the batteries run out (which you will never ever replace) or you have a particular boozy party and someone nicks it and so begins the legend of the Lav Nav otherwise known as "the splasher flasher" or "tinkle twinkler" or any other name you can come up with.My wife had a rather unpleasant incident with one of these and a Boeing 747 (she's still in therapy now.)

Well, I could just dunk my face into a bowl of soup if I didn't want to use a spoon, but it'd still be a pretty stupid idea... and that one wouldn't cost me 11 quid.

Bad enough that kids can't play with conkers and everything has to be disinfected these days, but now they can't bear a bit of light... f*ck me, it's a hard life, innit =/
