Yes

How is it? I'm contemplating on whether to purchase? Would you recommend it
Well, I got one as a gift. Came with some pods. Also I did come across some pods in clearance at a supermarket. The coffee is nice, quick to prepare but I am finding the pods expensive at the normal price so have put it away for now. Finding the little cafetiere or moka pot makes coffee just as nice for a fraction of the price.
And as for coffee, I tend to buy it ground from lidl. Often have ground coffee on half price as a weekend deal, 4 times a year I would say and that's when I stock up.
Those pods, you're paying for convenience
I'm sure there will be an option to buy reusable pods as with most modern machines.
The convenience may disappear but the inconvenience may be less apparent as you sip on lovely coffee
I had a Lavazza pod machine before (similar to this but without the milk part) and it made very good coffee. Definitely better than cafetière coffee and I actually preferred it over nespresso (I’ve tried tassimo too, but that’s just naff for black coffee). The only one better in the ‘capsule’ arena I’d say is Illy pod machines. Bare in mind I’m talking about espresso shots here, not milky drinks as it’s quite easy to make a good tasting latte or cappuccino with any of these pod machines.
Machine makes gorgeous coffee but you need to stock up on pods when they are on special- £10 for 3 boxes- sometimes Lavazza website offers box of 36 for about £5 - tesco, asda and sainsbury are due for an offer about now! Hopefully cos I’m down to last 2 boxes

Yes, lovely coffee but very expensive so you have to shop around and buy in bulk when a good deal comes up. Just before Christmas amazon had 256 for £34.50 (now gone back to £60) which worked out at about 13.5p each. Much better than the almost 25-30p for the packs of 16 that the supermarkets carry.

We had the older version of this, which died last month after years of heavy usage and neglect so this deal came at a good time.

These machines are great really nice coffee best of the pod machines about, admittedly the pods are expensive but worth for the convenience.

I buy pods in bulk 256 pods at a time from amazon, much cheaper than supermarket when on offer.

You won't regret buying it 😁

Keep any eye out at John Lewis/Waitrose they do the pods on special offer.
I've had the smaller machine since B&M had them in offer and I wouldn't change it for no money !!

Capsules I usually find in the reduced area as people open the boxes to see what size the caps are .... I take them all then lol
I had Tassimo which has died, should i get this? I like my lattes in the morning.

In my opinion, you will see a significant increase in coffee taste with this. I've known several people who had tassimo, then tasted a lavazza and converted over.
Isn't the range of different coffees rather limited and there only being the one manufacturer, makes pricing more controlled?
Crazy how straws are more or less banned but plastic pods are still sold . Bean to cup all the way

The new eco caps are compostable.
Mine arrived today. Looks fab, smaller than I thought and the coffee is lovely!
What about using stainless steel reusable pods for this model off ebay about £15 ?
you want to fantasia plus model, the milk jug has a handle on it, much easier and practical to remove from the machine and pour. Wonder if the jug with handle can be purchased?
