Currently same unit price in Tesco, £2.80 per 250g. (until 29 Nov)

Benefit of checking use by date, or purchasing lower quantity etc

Same price at Tesco and you just have to buy them singly and no waiting for delivery either

each to their own
i like the multipacks, and we don't shop at Tesco

Waitrose are currently selling Illy espresso coffee for £4.69 250g - worth the extra I think. They had a 2 for £5 offer on Lavazza as well but I think that has finished now.

Illy is better & worth paying the extra IMO.

Illy was £2.71 for 250g last time I bought it from tesco

So it works out 54p less and is nicer!

Not in to coffee but a couple of friends are and they would never buy pre-ground coffee. Are they wrong?

if i spent the best part of 5 quid per pack on coffee with the amount that i go through, my missus would club me to death with my Gaggia...

um, not sure about your sums there.
think the figure you're looking for is 9p
and i've never seen one of these mystical Illy deals at any of my local supermarkets, ever (_;)

i stocked up on lavazza when they were £1.90 in waitrose ( first ever bargain i found at waitrose).. Still got around 20 packs and got long date. sllurrrp! The offer was posted here but didn't get very warm for some reason

No alternate, they are not wrong. A good grinder costs around a 100 quid though so most people just buy preground. Grinding is quite difficult to do properly yourself.
