This is a fantastic deal and the Lavazza coffee pods these machines use make a really good cup of coffee

Once you have purchased your Lavazza Éspira machine, you will receive your milk frother within 12 weeks of sending back the application form. This promotion is valid between 10/4/14 and 31/12/14.

Who the hell wants to wait for a possible 3 month delay on a frother !!

How does it stack up against Nespresso Pods, which im told - by many sources - are the best tasting pods on the market?

What does the milk frother look like as mine only cost me £1.49?

Looking at the other models and their pricing/discount, I reckon this may be a misprice.

(Have I jinxed it by saying the word out-loud?)

I like buying **** and getting a free fart with it.

I've never owned a coffee machine. Can this thing make Cappuccinos or does it only do expresso? If it only does expresso, can anybody recommend anything priced similar which makes Costa Coffee style Cappuccinos?

I have this from Last post. Great machine lovely coffee

Has been on offer for a lot less than that - £20 IIRC (is on my profile someplace as posted an offer from JL a while back).
Not a reliable machine either, not even a year old and it seems to have seized up needing encouragement to get the spinning whisk going and sounds more like it's blending rocks than stirring milk now - I think the moisture from the steaming has got in the mechanism causing it.

Seems a good deal though

Dolce Gusto, Senseo and Tassimo all do similar priced machines but all use milk pods instead of a milk frother which some find gives their drinks a powdered-milk flavour. Nespresso pod machines usually get the best reviews but you will need to make the latte/cappa part yourself with a milk frother. That's pretty easy with an automatic frother. Nespresso make an automatic frother called an aerocinno. We've had this and think it's brilliant, much easier than the little whisk things you can use and it makes the milk hot too. You just have to be prepared to give it a swill out afterwards, and it won't do the fancy layering you see in the Dolce Gusto and Tassimo drinks or the brand named coffee like Costa (which do Tassimo pods) although, again, the nespresso coffee gets better reviews anyway.

Wanted to buy this deal as the nespresso machine had to go and Lavazza coffee is lush Oh well, better luck next time.

ditch the expensive pod systems get an aeropress

You would use the milk frother to make cappuccinos. Normal machine will do American (normal black coffee) or shots

I had a top of the range Dolce Gusto, used it for a couple of years but was spending so much on the coffee it just wasn't economical. Bought a Tesco EM13 Espresso machine (tesco.com/dir…prd?pageLevel=&skuId=536-7242).

It is often available at half price, £39.99 and has been brilliant so far. You get to choose what coffee you buy, Lavazza, own brands, Taylors, even Costa!!

The steam frother is great, doesn't run out like other machines and isn't an optional extra. OK, you have to do a bit of work, but I find that a pleasure, making it as strong or as weak as wanted.

Just thought I would add my fourpennorth.

Awesome I brought two of these instead of an Nespresso, still awaiting both jugs was told being processed

Fantastic Machine for the money! Purchased this last week as my Dolce Gusto started to leak! The coffee is piping hot and it's a real breeze to use! Great replacement would recommend!

all good coffee is made from espresso then you add milk/water/steamed milk to make the the other variants. The lavvaza pods are excellent I've had a AEG machine with milk steamer for about 6 months now and I'm drinking far to much coffee. I was talked into getting the machine while in JL and I'm very glad I was

Lavazza coffee pods lovely , bit more effort to froth and heat milk separately but lovely result.

Can you use any other pods with this?
