no worries, all sorted and thanks for posting
Normally in May around the bank holidays these get reduced. The Vegas tends to go around the £250 range and the Miami cheaper. At one point, Asda did do the Vegas under £200 but that price didn't last long. If it's not a purchase that you need immediately, may be worth waiting until May to see if the discounts get repeated again.
same price in Argos** stores if you dont want to use ebay outlet and 2p cheaper in Homebase for the miami

** Last day today to get £10 back in Argos on spends over £100 as well **

I've got one set up in my conservatory.
I've also got solar panels which is a big help as heating and maintaining it is expensive. You also have to keep on top of the chemical levels by adding PH balance, chlorine, algaecide and clarifier solutions. The filters can be washed in the washing machine though (unlike my mate who was throwing them away after one use!)
i have one and would say it cost 10.00 for the whole week on electricity I think that's good... Keeping the water at the right temp and getting in as often as you like. Has mine 2 years now best purchase
Available from Tesco at £254: http://www.tesco.com/direct/bestway-lay-z-spa-miami-inflatable-hot-tub/370-5572.prd

Also worth noting there's £8.95 carriage to add to that ebay purchase

Hi does everyone pack there's away ours lasted one summer so not sure but was fun and good x
Warning the heating element went on mine, It seems to be a sealed unit and cannot be replaced, therefore a whole new controller and heating unit required. Expensive.

Ours is permanently up. Spent new years eve in it with a bottle of champagne and a movie.
Change the water every 2.5 to 3 months

You can also chuck them in the dishwasher
Hi, I have a question for one of the members that have one already.....
Are these comfortable to sit in and do they have some kind of seat moulded within???

I could sit in mine all day. 40°c and a few beers.
They don't have moulded seats but the fact that you're sitting in hot water means it's not as hard on your ass and back as sitting on the ground. They are inflatable so your back is cushioned. I have mine sat on a tiled floor with a layer of lino underneath and it is perfect. I have lower back issues and have no problem with this.
We love our vegas. Set up in the garden on top of decking. We keep it at 40degs 24/7 as it is used daily, costs about £25 per month additional to normal electricity bill.
We use chlorine tablets and clarifier, occassionally ph+. Water gets changed about once every 4/5 weeks - but the kids are in it for 2 hours most days, plus my hubbie and I for about an hour of an evening. Takes about 2 hours to refill, we use the hot tap so its useable right away.
Lovely on an evening with a glass of wine and a film. We dont use the bubbles very often, its not theraputic, it cools the water quickly and is noisy. But, as a glorified bath its lovely.
No moulded seats, but the base has a foam mat inside it, pluus the water and inflated sides it doesnt need seats.
Filters go in the dishwasher, we change it daily.
I would not recommend the Miami, its a very basic version, has no leatherette covers and feels to be a thinner material than the others.
Our was £300 in November, we've had it out all winter - covering the pump unit with bubblewrap and a bag during the worst of the cold weather.
We buy a new one every year about this time, then sell the 12 month old one in the summer for about a £100 loss. A new one every year for £100. Bargain
Out of stock
I had one and loved it... sadly the pump went and

DEF be careful putting it on grass as it can puncture fairly easily. The way it gets the water so hot tho - amazing.... def tempted to get a proper one.
Page 2 and nobody has mentioned swingers. This site is going downhill.
3rd year of having our Miami. Not expensive to run. I use multipurpose chlorine tabs in a floater and wash filters in the dishwasher. Water is crystal clean for ages. Ours cost £200 from homebase in 2014 and has been a great purchase !
I bet the girl pictured in it, is a primordial dwarf!oO
Would this be worth getting one to install within the house hold?
