These are generally always this price, and with the sound of the pump the only thing the neighbours will do is complain! Great to use once and then flog it on eBay :-)

Great fun though!

they go mouldy and bugs live underneath. definitely too expensive for a bit of fun.

My brother got one of these last year and have to admit they are really good - even better if someone else has one so you don't have the hassle of cleaning it or changing the water :). Would have been tempted if I had the space in the garden.

Relatively cheap hot tub, great idea. Reality is somewhat different in my experience. I say relatively cheap as this is nearly double what I paid for mine when MFI were clearing them out. They use a lot of electricity to heat, and take a fair bit of maintenance. Ours died recently, the pump/heater units aren't terribly reliable and whilst the body is fairly heavy material they do suffer.
Much as I'd love another I'll save for a solid tub.

If the neighbours saw me sitting outside in my bathers the last thing that they would be is jealous. Nauseous maybe, jealous no.

I used to have one of these. A great way of getting into hot tubs and lovely to relax in. I would aim for a target price of about £250 though.
There are things to consider though:
1. The pump can be noisy - especially when the blower is on (I had to construct a sound insulating box to go over it).
2. You have to be careful to look after it and do proper maintenance. Use the right sanitation chemicals and change the filters regularly.
3. The air blower and heater can't run at the same time so use it in short bursts so the temperature doesn't drop too much.
