Great price on a hot tub that can hold upto 7 people. It's not quite the weather right now, although a very good discount on this model, for when the sky decides to cheer up a fair bit.

Not available in store, but delivery is free anyway and that means you don't have to struggle with it in the car park.

Best time for a hot tub is the cold winter months (despite the running costs!)

The Helsinki has fr0st protection so can be used all year round.
The issue with these Lay-Z-Spa's are the air compressors. They are so loud. If you think it's relaxing having the equivalent of a Henry hoover blasting in your ears whilst you have the jets on, it's probably a good buy.

Not sure how long these will last!

We have had ours for about 15 years, a proper tub though. But it did cost 7 times more than this.

We empty ours for the summer and fill for the rest of the year. Just cleaned it out so will refill it for Tomorrow night.
I was out in mind last night and it was -2. It was amazing
Paid £467 at very over Xmas with a 20% off for a present. Still a good price though

When kids have grown up and I can get rid of play area I'm having a spa and steam room
The burner on the left looks like we will be imagining ourselves for a bombastic bath

How much do these cost to run & heat weekly?

How much do these cost to run & heat weekly?

My electricity bill has gone up roughly 35-50 a month extra since having mine. But you can be more efficient with it, by running it at a cooler temperature then raising it up a few degrees, a few hours before you plan to use it. I use mine three or four times a week
Nothing like a sex spa - invite your neighbours round for a key in the bowl party
Would this be alright for regular Swingers Parties. ?

Asking for a friend.

If I’m honest they are not made to be constantly ran all year round. We have the Vegas model and it is just over 2 years old and is always on. The material inside the pool has lost its pattern which is not a massive deal and the inflatable lid fills with water as the seams are going and let it in . I am more familiar with the internal workings of the pump/heater than I would like as the flow sensor is very poorly made and I have had to fix it as they are crazy money to replace. I have had the temperature sensor fail too. Luckily I managed to pick up a 6 month old whole pump/heater for free this weekend that I will use as parts to help keep it going for as long as possible !

Thanks! I remember just before Christmas B&Q has some model reduced to clear for like £150 was so tempted but everyone said they expensive and cost around £50 a week, a month sounds decent and affordable but week put me off haha and they sold out super quick being dirt cheap.

I can find roles for six people but I worry the seventh might feel left out.
Blimey. Are we still making these? Hard to see they don't make seeking a +1.5'c world just a little harder
Wouldn’t recommend lay z spa as they can’t be left in the sunshine (material melts and causes a leak)

In my case it would be a bike lock as I haven't got a car

You haven't seen my neighbours
I wouldn't buy a Spa from B&Q again...
Bought one last year.
They never delivered it.
I had to call them and complain, only to be told that they have no stock.
Had to several weeks for refund.
Totally Rediculous customer service.

Brag
I love a hot tub, but the thought of cleaning one on any sort of regular basis immediately puts me off

Roughly 2kw per hour so what ever your elec rate is mine I think is 15p per kg per hour
So approx 30p per hour mine costs
What's the deal with these inflatable type? Do you basically sit flat on your backside in them? I assume they don't have a lounger or seat position, like normal hot tubs?
We took the plunge and went the whole hog and bought a 32a always on type. Yeah, the running costs are high, but we went for a supposedly better insulated one. I reckon it costs us about £50-£60 extra a month to run, but it sits around 38-Degrees constant. Neighbours have a plug-in type, but they need to plug it in on something like a Thursday night for it to heat up for a Saturday or something like that. We had to build a metal framed Gazebo covering ours, as the midges in Scotland during the summer months are a nightmare when you are in it, out in the open.

I clean ours out completely, around every 4-months. Still have to check the chemicals every 2nd day or so, but isn't too much hassle and you get used to doing it.

Is that all? I honestly thought it would be a lot more often than that. I was expecting weekly. Might have to reconsider!

We bought our LayzSpa in 2010 and have used it every summer and it’s still going well. It’s was £300 so we’ll worth it. They do last but like anything a bit of luck is involved.
