Which Morrisons?
Which store?
Nationwide reduction in all stores
This is well worth it, I bought this last year for £249 from b&q. And it’s been used from day one, kids in it now and still as good as new.
My local gamston Nottingham had 8 this morning
Just checked my local Morrisons in Swinton all have sold out?
Will check my local now.

How much maintenance do these take? We stayed with friends who have a 'proper' tub and loved it but I've no idea about how to look after one. Are the chemicals etc expensive. How often does the way need changing?

Thanks in advance
Bishopbriggs have some, front door!

I use one chlorine tablet a week and it keeps the water levels at the required level- I brought 12 filters from amazon and used half of them from June to September last year - they cost £23 ish

Lay z spa recommend changing water every month and you can pick up chemicals on Amazon for about £25. Kids and wife love ours! How long chemicals last depends on how well it keeps, but I last bought some last year and got enough for this year.
If you put your local store I can see if they had any this morning...

Chemicals in the starter pack (has everything you need) are expensive (22-35 pound depending on shop) but seem to last. The only thing that don't last are the test stripes (5-7pound a pot maybe cheaper on ebay or amazon) . Sold in 25 strips per pot. I find they are expensive to run on electric (around 5 to 7 pound to heat from cold. Takes around 12 hours) and then around 3.80 a day to keep going (I'm on a bad tariff so probs be around 2 pound a day)

If still in stock. I received 8 & have sold them all at £250.

Apparently over 700 still in the business (350 already sold)
I think you would have to be very !!! good friends to have 4 in that ?

You will save a lot of maintenence costs if you clean the filter daily, to keep it working (if it gets dirty/is left too long, the spa will turn off /start beeping with an error code). Also make sure people shower away with with just water anything on their body. Majority of stuff that clogs up the filter quicker is makeup etc. Chemicals not too bad especially if you buy in bulk. I prefer to use bromine to chlorine, as it's less of a harsh smell. You will need pH testing strips and some pH up and down, but not much of the pH up and down chemicals (I bought bulk and then realised it'd take me absolute years to use it all). Another useful thing to have is algaecide (which is a preventative measure) and clarifier (this is expecially needed if it's going to have a LOT of use). I bought
Bromine tablets, pH up and down buckets, on ebay.
The algaecide and clairifer I got the bestway (suggested chemicals provider by Layz) bottles from amazon.

Generally you will know from the look and feel of the water when in the tub if it needs changing. If you keep everything clean and up to date you can get away with 2-3 monthly water changes.

It's not too bad but can get very cosy if thats what you wanna get up to 🙃

Personally I have it for me and the wife and if I'm being nice will let the kids in!

Just picked one up from Hereford for £180.0 using friends & family card. Looks like there was one more by the front door. Many thanks to poster dealn00bie.
Anyone know if they are selling the clearwater starter kids for a sensible price?

£23-ish from Amazon but cannot deliver until Weds - keen to stick some stuff in tomorrow.
Many thanks all!
Is Bromine and Bromide two different things(asking for a friend).

I think that's a matter of chemical difference in compounds. In spa terms, you either use bromine or chlorine. I prefer bromine as its less harsh on the skin in my experience. I think the main difference is that bromine has a lower ph level - if you use chlorine, your pH levels are going to be more difficult to manage. I've barely had to use pH up/down with the bromine tablets keeping a fairly steady pH level. Important to have pH test strips as these will tell you if the concentration of chlorine/bromine is too high or low as well as the pH levels.

The starter kits are a bit of a con. You can get everything you need cheaper seperatly in ebay without buying the big branded products, especially if you buy bigger containers. Personally I dont know how well the chlorine granules work and how long 500g last you. I find it easier to use bromine tablets which disperse slowly from a floating dispenser.

The floor is not inflated on these so think about putting something under it, we used old carpet and tarp. Good tub though, ours is a few years old (but we got this model back then for I think a bit less maybe £180 from Aldi?) and only needed two patches despite being used nearly every other week. You can 'shock' the water with chemicals to save changing all the water everytime.
Where are these peoples legs???
Everyone's buying these...soon we'll all be carrying a swimsuit in our bags whenever we pop over to the neighbors ... Just incase...

Got this kit last year and still going strong. Half chlorine used and all other chemicals pretty much untouched. I’ve had to buy new tests strips and that’s it. This kit has over twice the best way kits in local stores. U will use loads of strips until u get used to amounts to put in. Daily change and hose blast out of filter don’t leave it more than 2 days. Quick shower before going in makes a massive difference to keeping it healthy and clean. If 4 go in chance filter immediately after.

Just now in store in Rickmansworth and they say the price is still £250. Frustrating that this doesn’t seem to be nationwide after all

Did they say at the desk? If not its worth asking them to check. Often the price label on shelfs/items aren't updated but the actual price would scan through as £200

Exactly what happened! I asked them at the desk and they said it’s definitely still £250. But, as you said, I simply went to the till and it came up at £200! Thanks!
How do you empty it of water .. just asking

Quite often they've just not got around to updating price tickets. This happened to me during one of the Tesco club card deals for Daz, said £8 on shelf ticket but scanned at £7. One of the Tesco staff had a scanner which checked the price for me before I took it to the til. Enjoy your Miami Spa. I've had mine since last July. Its had one slow puncture but have managed to fix it and set the tub back up. 38 is your magic number if you have it on any hotter, it'll make you start to overheat in your body!

Agree. Have the best way all in one tablet and just replace as needed. Get yourself some chlorine too to ‘shock’ the water once it’s filled. I’m told you can put the filters in your washing machine in a pillow case to extend their life.
