Wouldn’t say it’s as good as the Layton series itself as there’s not really a story, just two people and a talking dog solving different cases. However it still has puzzles like the others, but again they’re a bit hit and miss with those as well. I enjoy it personally! Just not as much as I did with the original Layton games.
I thought the story was figuring out what happened to the professor? Or was that false advertising?
This is the worst game in the series, if you have a 3ds there are 7 better games to buy.
Man if they did the ds collection on switch on one cartridge it’s be massive seller

It's far easier than the Professor Layton titles.

Unless I've missed something in my 17+ hours so far and completing 7/9 of the cases so far ... it's never mentioned that he's missing at all. Alluded to in a couple of scenes right at the beginning, but with no urgency or concern.

Like other's have said, this is probably the worst Layton game, but it's still decent. art style is beautiful and the puzzles look great in the way they do the split screen of the DS/3DS.

I'd love it if they used this format and remastered the core Professor Layton games, it would work so well.

Cool thanks for that, I was wondering the same thing too.
