Lay-z Spa St Moritz - £425 Instore @ B&Q

I’ve been working out which replacement hot tub to buy. I’m embarrassed to say I even made a spreadsheet to compare price, size, water capacity etc (I felt a bit of a prat). But it did help me work out that for us the best hot tub would be the St Moritz. So I’ve been looking for a while for the best deal. Today we bought one. In B&Q they are stopping selling then so have reduced their stock to just £425.
Now the bad point is that where I could have gotten 5% cashback from Quidco it is showing as out of stock online. So I couldn’t. I did email the CEO of B&Q to point out that I couldn’t pay online to get cashback even though my local branch (Southend) has 10 in stock. I probably won’t hear back. Shame as would have been £22.50 cashback!
I hope this deal helps someone. Don’t forget to register the purchase online so that warranty is extended to 2 years.

How I laughed, Liked, Liked, Liked
Is this named after St Moritz the glamorous alpine resort or St Moritz the off licence in Cleethorpes?
How is this spa better than the Miami for half the price? It's got more airjets yes but what else is different? Is it just size?

He may well do as I said, but it never hurts to flag things up to the people at the top. Sometimes I’ve known them to look into things (or have someone look into things).

We had the Vegas before. We looked at the Miami as sooooooo cheap to buy. But saw one on display and it was small. Like a birthing pool.
So at 216cm we went with the Moritz because much wider - 7 people. 2019 model with inbuilt chlorine dispenser, more water but not a massive amount more like the Monaco thiugh.

Being new to this...what else do you need to buy to continue use of this beyond what comes in the pack?

You should put it somewhere sheltered from the wind to prevent heat loss and sit it on insulation. We bought two 8x4 sheets of builders polystyrene foam cheap which was 150mm thick.
This makes it cheaper to run. You can keep it at 32 or 35 then for about £1.50 a day. You need chlorine tablets which are cheapest on ebay. Just change the water every 3 months.
Replacement hotub? The day I think about getting a 'hotub' is the day I buys an Audi/BMW
Heat added for using a spreadsheet
