Fixed it for ya...
There seems to be something 'not quite as good' about these in comparison to ones I've had from places other than this type of shop. What I mean is, they don't seem to last as long or to be as strong - less air? less pressure?

if you squirt it upside down it sprays out chunks of ice...worth a quid for the novelty of spraying your mates

It isn't air in there- hence the don't breathe it in part.
The reason I drink Dr. Pepper? what's the worst that can happen eh? See my point?! It's a quid.
Hot, and nice simple thread text - like it.

NB - does it have 3D blu-ray, diet coke, and HMV codes with it lol
Maplin are just the worst shop in the world. Not only do they have incredibly high prices, but they also have rude staff, and almost always know less about their products than you.

This is based on personal experience, and does not reflect the views of the majority. But it probably does.

And give them frostbite, lucky them!
It’s good to see a deal that isn’t full of hot air like some.

If the air wasn't compressed how would it get out the can.
Might as well stock up now....heard the governments going to be charging for air in the coming future! LOL

It's a liquid propellant that evaporates, in much the same fashion as any other aerosol.

No 'air' at all. It's actually fairly nasty stuff

Its definately not just compressed air. Great stuff for finding leaks on a gc-ms, plus normally alot more expensive than a £1
Deep breath people
Use on of these for blowing out dust etc.

Yes, I know it's about £40, but can it be used on running PC's, servers, etc, without any problems. It is also about 5 times stronger compared to an air can, so use with caution on fans etc. It will blow out stuff that cans won't even think of moving.

When i clicked on this i did expect to see a JML special something like a laser guided air duster.
awh, i thought it was a spy gadget for dusting "lazer maze" paths like on james bond when trying to get into bank vaults or stealing big diamonds,,, poop.:( will have to look elsewhere.
btw , if it spits out ice does that mean i vote it cold oO

think you are all confusing it with the acronym 'laser' (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) (_;)
It's called an air duster, but its full of luiquid gas, as compressed air would need a thick steel cylider and regulator like divers use.
Very cheap as most places charge around £4-£6 a can for 400ml. Great for nooks & crannies for delicate areas where most corded handhelds are too big or cause more damage. Will stock up on a couple in the garage.
Overpriced! I got one of these from my local 99p store:D
re maplin they had a card reader same as the ones in pound shop for £19.99 (to be fair it came in a slightly bigger box ) how do they make a profit
if you've got a 99p Stores shop nearby it's been in there for a few weeks at........99p!
very good price. good for blowing dust etc off camera lenses, viewfinder etc.
Good deal. Picked up a couple yesterday. I bought them for paintless dent removal. Great little trick for small dings on the car. Google it or check youtube for details.
I got a great idea... Lets bottle air and sell it in cans!

oh wait its been done.
