Just ordered one, not needed at present but worth sticking in the loft for when we upgrade our crt telly! Voted hot.

BTW the 9.99 vacuum cleaner seems to be back in stock

thanks for this, came at just the right time for my mum:thumbsup:

red hot, shame I only have 32" cos I am after a nice stand..

Stupid question but how do these attach to the tv exactly?

I would imagine it has a VESA mount on the back, most LCD/Plasmas now have standard VESA holes on the back of the TV.

They have a plate at the top of the poles you can see on the picture. Should affix to most TVs (not guarenteed).

Like the look of these but having had a similar one the main drawback is all the cables are impossible to hide. I ended up getting a solid wooden one in the end to hide the cabling.

doesnt look a particular great stand even at that price, better stands on ebuyer , similar prices

If it has a standard VESA mount on the back then would a 32" still be able to fit on this?

Btw anyone after a stand for screens up to 32", there's a glass stand on eBuyer reduced to £15!!!

dipped my pear in this one, thanks.

Anyone getting "invalid start date" when trying to input payment details? I've tried 3 cards and same error!?!

Have you tried leaving the start date blank as I know some people have had the same problem and this seems to work sometimes ?

difference from ebuyer and empire is free delivery isnt it??

Yeah, I've tried leaving them blank but it still says the same! :? I've even closed and re-opened my browser.

Yep, I tried 3 different cards. When I called them up they said it's because the stand is out of stock now.

Would the original stand posted be ok for a sharp 26"???

The stand is for TVs 37-42".

If you missed this may be worth looking in your local Tesco (Direct?) - noticed in walking around earlier this week my Tesco Extra store (Milton Keynes Kingston) had quite a few glass TV type stands with major markdowns. (I have no interest myself so don't recall any details, just remember seeing them).
