Been looking for one of these for some time, and at over 40% off the RRP its the best price I have seen it at.

At the time of writing, only 2 in stock but more on the way - for those who are fans of cast iron cooking, and in particular Le Creuset cookware, this Cast Iron omelette pan is a great addition to any kitchen. Perfect for omelettes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, as well as shallow frying - ok, its not the largest diameter pan (don't be fooled by the description; the 20cm diameter refers to the top of the pan, not the actual cooking surface) but its the perfect size for its intended purpose.

Next best price I can find is £39.95 at John Lewis...

Just about to say the same - unexpired
Yeah, I jumped the gun - sorry.

Thanks for unexpiring
yes they're heavy, but they're also very nice...
I am generally a little disappointed with Le Creuset frying pans as the surface in the centre tends lose its finish and then everything sticks. Perhaps its me but I have tried to be pretty gentle with them. I did try and discuss it rationally with someone in the Le Creuset shop but they seemed horrified that I'd been using it for cooking in the first place! I'd rather stick (or not as thye case may be) with my Tefal Integral. Not voting hot or cold.
they have a good range of le creuset at tk maxx

Gotta agree with you there. Got a few pots as house warming presents years ago. They are not practical in an average modern kitchen. Too heavy, difficult to handle on your hob, difficult to wash, god help any crockery sharing the sink. OK if you've got an Aga and a butler sink (and fore-arms like Popeye help too).
Crumble

I couldnt have said it better myself. I have a ceramic sink and a knobless ceramic hob so i dont use mine anymore. They look nice but as you say, not for the masses.
These things are so heavy! Beware, you might suffer from RSI using it!
