just an update for anyone whose ordered - mine been delivered today £3.99 with delivery for the 5 packets, quick delivery, only ordered 3 days ago, bargain boost to my allotment for next season
The 14" ones are far better @ £10 for 4 - do as I did , club in with friends and get your order over £50 for the free postage . Lead the Good Life send me these "free postage " emails every week ,but they only ever apply to a small selection of overpriced stuff , not their full range .:(
sorry the email says free delivery until Tuesday but it may just be ont he plants on the front page. If I knew how to post the screen shot of the eamil I would. If the free delivery doesn't apply then it's an extra 4.99 sorry
Think you should read the email properly - Free postage only applies to selected packs of bulbs ! - £4.99 on these unless you spend over £50 . So £13.99 for 4 - not such a good deal . If you must buy get the 14" ones - they give a much better display .
P&P not free unless there's a voucher code we're missing?
11% cashback at Quidco http://www.quidco.com/leadthegoodlife-com/
I thought this was gonna be for something completely different lol
i have both. Love the breville for simple smoothies and the ergonomic bottles. Nutri much better with getting things like nuts and hemp seeds pulverised.
Great deal, OP. Very rare to find this at a discount, let alone with such generous cashback... ignore the uninitiated cold voters who think that a blender is a blender is a blender. Cheers!
Discount code LT9L5. Extra 5% off.
lol sometimes I wish I were but not very much at the moment. That's not really me but very close - only I am more like this [/img] Think it's a shame that this deal wasn't honoured as it looks as though people were only ordering 3 or so at the 1p price. They couldn't call me because I registered with a wrong telephone number but a follow-up email or voucher would have been nice. I hope some get parcels and come back to tell us. <3 Think I might send the company images of my garden to make them feel bad :)
u look at 1 with nature X)
oh no..............but fingers crossed that some of you are lucky, remember to give it time and a little surprise parcel may arrive, then again it may not X) me - i don't mind the weeds in my garden [/img]
Still no refund or any cancellation email for me, fingers x i get my bulbs etc mind u its been over a week now (_;)
Mine was refunded with no contact too :(
Just used this deal and the MAY15 discount code and it came to under £77
How do you get the additional 11% off quidco? Sorry new to this. Thanks
I ordered mine on a Friday and it arrived the following Thursday. It was showing as having been dispatched a few days earlier, but the hold up was with Hermes somewhere along the line. This meant that it arrived the day I'd left for a holiday, so I'm making up for lost time with it now I'm home!
for those that ordered through this company, how long did it take to arrive?
Anyone order from them before..? How big are these fruit tree. As I don't want to plant something small and wait 3-4 years before I see any fruits.
None in stock.
You don't pay any VAT on fruit trees.
Plus £4.99 delivery unless I'm wrong. Still seems a good price though
out of stock now too, hope they get more in!
Code AFF20 no longer works but code SAVE10 still works. Looks like they have fixed it & delivery is chargeable now. :(
Now £8!! :)
Lead the Good Life - 20% Discount Code Until Midnight Sunday 16th March but it works now. All customers need to do to claim the discount is enter AFF20 into the box at the checkout. Just tried, it still works. Coupon code "AFF20" was applied. :D If that doesn't work try; The code "SAVE10" without the quotes seems to work on sale and non sale things if it helps anyone. :D Lead The Good Life TCB Online Purchase: 10.5% Go for the 20% as much better rate. Any TCB is a bonus. :D
My thoughts precisely. Not worth it, with the vat and postage. Shame.
link please? thanks
i just need 1 large one, any ideas on best place? cheers!
Mine came yesterday. Look very good. Got two wall ones as well. Just need some cheap plants now go in them.
Bought a couple of the 14" ones that arrived today. Looks like good quality and at a good price.
Ordered thanks, and used code AFF20 for 20% off price (£1.60) paying £11.39
Should be expired.
Tried to find, looks like they've sold out. It was on 4 apple trees.
oh I would be interested in these?
not worked for me either, got 3 potted trees already and would like to add to the collection, especially at 4 for £15!
I can't find it either ?
52 packs of seeds and 50 lily bulbs, if you had ordered doubled that, then you could claim 5p per packet..... One thing I have found is that where seeds have been advertised cheaply, the actual quantity inside is smaller than the more expensive packets.
Not necessarily. I ordered 52 packs of seeds and 50 Lilly bulbs for £20 incl. p&p. Considering most places are selling seeds at £1 a pack this is quite a bargain IMHO.
P and p kills it
Very true, the growers have even made it yellowy-green to go with the taste! ;)
They are voting cold because they prefer chlorine based lettuce
Out of interest why is this being voted cold? If you can tell me of a better/cheaper deal please let me know about it :)
Bumper Flowering Seed Collection - 26 Seed Packs for £6 http://www.gardenbargains.com/bumper-flowering-seed-collection.html 250 Bulb Collection for £9.99 http://www.gardenbargains.com/250-bulb-collection.html
..and of course there is no free delivery ..................for me at any rate
Always better if possible to go to somewhere like Aldi and select healthy looking plants
Aldi have some nice he be plants @ £2.49 each if that helps
I would save my money and buy plants that aren't quite so happy shopper as these. At 2 years, they will still take a lot of growing before they fill out and bare rooted stock can sometimes take a lot of nurturing before they start to come on. Have a look at some of the good garden nurseries on eBay that sell more individual or exciting plants that won't cost much more if they combine postage. A lot of the plants listed above can be picked up cheap enough in the likes of b+m or pound shops.
Anyone have anything good to say about these guys as really need some shrubs Thx
they seem expensive
don't forget 3.03% TCB :-)
how are their seeds like? no infos on how many seeds in their description.
derbtastic we had the exact same problem
i bought some of these last year from Garden Bargains after seeing them advertised on Ideal World TV channel, then ordered some for a neighbour and then for my mum and some for an aunt. Only a few of the trees grew leaves - the majority nothing. I did complain to Garden Bargains and they sent me some replacements - but i had the same problems with them too! Best bet is to go to a nursery at least then you can see before you buy and get proper planting advice.
Way too expensive. No need for pots this time of year, bare rooted ideal now.Tesco selling a fine selection at £4.
brought some of these last year and only 1 survived past 6months do not recomend at all
Love internet shopping, but would never buy a fruit tree without being able to check it first. Not voting either way, but for me the risk makes it simply not cheap enough.
Some very good prices if your a keen gardener ( I am ) but the £4:99 P&P is a sting, this is a shopping channel that are based in my hometown of Peterborough. Heat added.
Yes - so did I. Never heard of them. Not sure why they e-mailed me. I hate gardening!
Would agree - had no problems in the past.
Any free delivery codes about!
my whole garden came from here including 7 dwarf fruit trees, canes, runners plants and flowers, as i like the selection and prices they offer, and i have never had any negative dealings with them.
Having been fleeced by these people, I totally agree with all the negative comments.
Wouldn't touch this company with a bargepole......just Google customer feedback about them
what do you mean
Please do your research on this firm before parting with your cash unless you want to throw it away!!!!
No one should be planting bare root trees at this time of year, never mind selling them, there is a good reason that they are cheap.
Try getting stuff delivered to Inverness,Scotland, costs a fortune, I use Ideal world instead,a lot cheaper
I have bought 2 valentine apple trees , a bramley apple tree, a braeburn apple tree, a conference pear tree, a cherry tree, 3 blueberry plants , pineberries, strawberries, blackberries, rasberries, and some flowers, as well as a variety of pots and compost etc, and the only problem i had , as i mentioned above, was my bramley died ( probably my fault and yet they still replaced it), excellent customer service and very helpful.
http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews249951.html & http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.gardenbargains.com they are owned by http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews87736.html http://www.ciao.co.uk/Shopping_Channel_Ideal_World__53031 who also own http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/lovepets.co.uk
i've used them lots , never had any problems , sometimes things are delivered at specific times ( like when certain trees are ready for delivery - they come straight from nurseries, but i've always been advised of how long) and when i had one tree die unfortunately , i rang them up and was expecting them to be reluctant but they were extremely polite and arranged a free replacement immediately
Had some great quality plants, and some easy fill hanging baskets from them recently. Delivered very quickly, plus it was free P&P weekend !! they are part of the ideal world shopping channel so suprised they get bad reviews.
Concur with UnclePotter, just reported them to credit card, trading standards and Police for suspected fraud.
I see what you mean. http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews249951.html
Shocking company, just Google gardenbargains.com to see the numerous complaints
Anyone else taken delivery ?. Mine have arrived and sitting in bucket of water before planting tomorrow. I did think they'd only sent one larger one then spotted smaller ones all packed in with it. edit - all planted, roots were very good on them and most were budding or had new growth. They seem to be thriving and budding all over.
Thanks added to title.
don't forget they also give 12.12% from TCB
I got it from an email I deleted but they are all different. If you go from low to high on shrubs they are the ones that start at £4.99 down to the Weigla Rosea,so you get a good mix. Hope that is easy enough to understand. Code 800874 shows them all as a shrub pack.
