My son got one of these last year...well worth a tenner! hot from me
To anyone unsure of whether to buy this.
I can advise that it is one of the best toys i bought my then new born daughter (£29.99 at the time)

She is now 3 and still loves it
Yes, my daughter is 3 now and this is still a big favouite!
Brilliant toy! We had one and used it for both my two and have given it to a friend now for her newborn who also loves it! Well worth a tenner!
Ditto, 5 year old got one (as a baby) and had to buy a second for my 2 year old. Now wondering if will need a third for my baby or if my eldest might show signs of outgrowing soon. Wee lamb gave it to his wee brother a few weeks ago and then sleepily asked for him back a few nights later.
my little one had one of these - and loved it - great deal
Is this available to 'reserve and collect' instore, thus avoiding the delivery charge and avoiding an 'out of stock' wasted journey?

Call me old-fashioned, but isn't development of these fairly fundamental and best achieved by parents actually interacting with their child? All too often nowadays they're shoved in front of the telly or some shiny flashing thing dangled in front of them.
zekespah- they like the lights! I fail to see any human being light up and play music. This is hardly a tv is it? It's designed for babies to look at. It's not like you're gonna plonk them down in front of baby tad and leave them there is it? It's a toy for crying out loud! Doesn't mean you won't interact with your child. Also it the lullaby setting really helped me when I had a very grumpy baby to settle!
This isnt expired!!
Strangeness

It's not like you're gonna plonk them down in front of baby tad and … It's not like you're gonna plonk them down in front of baby tad and leave them there is it?

I think you're missing my point- far too many nowadays do exactly that. Its the council estate/benefits mentality. Sit the kiddies in front of the 42" LCD (of dubious origin) while they sit on the front with their bottles of White Lightning and L&Ms abusing the world and waiting for the next handout.
I paid £16.99 from TK MAXX yestreday, I have already wrapped it up so its not going back, I think that £9.99 is fab.
