Bought one for the kids and seriously a bargain at this price
got one at christmas and my boy loves it. he likes to use it as an mp3 player.

i found american amazon a good place to get extra game packs. even including postage they where only about £6 a piece.
Would this be ok for a 7 year old boy?
Thanks going to order one for my son and put it away for Christmas 🏻

it might seem a little basic. depends if hes used to other electronic devices. if hes never had anything else then he should find it fun.

My 5yo boy has this and loves it - his cousin who is 7 also likes to have a go on it when he comes over

Thank you! Would it be worth buying without being able to add new game packs to it?

it comes with 12 games and 3 pets so theres enough to play with. just if they eventually get bored of them you wont be able to add more without a laptop or computer. but maybe if you did ever want to buy more games then you could find someone who has a computer that could plug it in for you. its certainly usuable without adding more.

you can get some nice hard cases for it on ebay and amazon for around £7 - 10.
How much are folks paying for the extra games?
I ordered the purple one earlier and Argos have just gotten in touch and cancelled the order, not sure if store specific or not. Ordered one with Amazon instead, same price.

currently 9.99 on amazon. but try the american site, theyre usually cheaper. you can get dual packs for £7 or so. i ordered some earlier in the year and didnt take long to arrive.

be carefull of the white packs on amazon, theyre usually french and theres no english option. so avoid them.

with the game packs theres also a small physical toy in an egg. so theres something for them to unwrap and play with. weve clipped them onto the strap.

What age would it be suitable for? Too babyish for a 12 year old?
Just picked up a green and purple one, quality for £20 is quite unbelievable. My third child is only 2 but wants one as well!!!

Ah well here I go to buy a 3rd...as I say the quality is surprisingly good!
