Looks like your link and mine not working. It's definitely there. Everyone will just have to type it into Argos search. Remember there are 2 Pink Tag's. The other is over £20.

item no 361/3418

Something odd going on with the Argos site. Anyway, not ordered the tag but ordered the tag books which are on offer and one lot came back saying they couldn't confirm at that time, but the second came back saying thank you for your order!! Fingers crossed. Hope you all get the Tag. By the way I just rang their customer services and spoke to someone, so they are still there if you ring to enquire about this.

Ordered for my daughter. Thanks!!!

How do you price match with mother care? The item shows 29.99 with only 20% off there..!

thanks, ordered, some of the books are 1/3 or 25% off plus buy on get one half price :))

wow, a tenner per book, or 7.50 each with the current offer..pricey ! I think i will stick to the old fashioned method of spending time with my kids one to one, teaching them to read and doing the voices myself, much more fun and a whole lot cheaper.

Still, i guess the reader price is decent enough for lazy parents, more time for fagging and watching x-factor i 'spect

Same price at John Lewis. Maps and Solar games are cheaper though...

Can you folks suggest any books for 4 year old?

Ring them up and tell them you've seen their Tag in Pink for £9.99 at Argos. They then look at £9.99 but take 20% of difference off as well. £29.99-£9.99 = £20. Take 20% off £20 = £4. So £9.99 -£4 = £5.99 OOOhh! An even better saving. I've calculated it wrong! Mothercare Price match Not open at the moment though. However you need to check the memory on the Tags. I think there's 2 out and one holds less books than the other. X)

Just call Mothercare on 0844 875 5133, tell them you want them to price match Argos on the item and they'll do it. The difference being £20 so you'll get it for £5.99.

idiot me or my wife have read to our son and daughter every night of their lives, this is an extra utilty that helps with their reading as they can run the pen over the words.

ps both us lazy parents work full time and spend pretty much all our spare cash on our kids or in savings for their future.

tho we do watch the ex factor.

lordzaz what an awful mean thing to say. Anything that makes learning fun that is at a discounted price is worth sharing and I am sure most people appreciate the fact that someone has taken their time (away from fagging and the X factor) to share this information

Considering I don't smoke, am tea total & have a house full of books on every floor, new and secondhand, including all my childhood books, so it looks like a library, I find your comment "quaint". (Especially since out of your 36 comments you've made in the last 3 years and 8 months one of them happened to appear on this thread - honoured!!) But I do watch The X Factor!

Has anyone actually tried this price match at Mothercare? I read the small print and it says "cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts" so will it work for this? i'll give them a call in the morning to check and update x

The weekend the Baby Jogger City Mini was on offer at Toys R Us for £174.99 I rang Mothercare & they price matched for £159.99. (They were selling it for £249.99!)

We've had the tag reader for one year and a half, bought 8 books, all my children liked it.
However it has become obsolete after we bought a tablet computer: there are several e-books children can read by themselves of hear the sound of the word by tapping on it. And books are cheaper.

Would not recommend in 2012

Wow looks like a good deal, I just rang mothercare for price match and they said that the one argos have on sale is the older model so wouldn't price match has anyone else managed to get them to price match? I have looked and I can't see any difference?

The new models are £19.99 at Argos so you should still be able to get a decent price match discount at Mothercare

Lordraz maybe some people want to use this along side some normal books ? But yes you stick to your old fashion method and only that

Have ordered it, hope it comes through. Thought it could be good for long car journeys

Just got one, 4 days delivery. Hot!
