I know they have some deals from time to time, but I don't know how this one holds against some of their competitors like Duolingo.

Anyone has tried it before?

Pretty much every dutch person speaks English. I'm not suggesting learning Dutch wouldn't be rewarding, but if you're going to spend the time it takes to learn a new language, there are much better options. French, German, Spanish, Chinese or Japanese would be a better use of time.

That said, it's free........

I mostly agree if you going to spend time and effort to learn a language then choose one that is widely spoken French and Japanese limited population German some what there is no language called Chinese you mean mandarin or Cantonese Spanish is where you want to spend your time.

I learnt quite a lot of Czech some years ago, and never get the chance to use it. As a result, I've forgotten quite a lot. I've been learning Spanish for 2 years and get the opportunity to use it fairly regularly, which is where my comment came from. I chose to mention french and German as they're quite close to us, and have 75 million and 90 million speakers respectively, and will get you by in many European countries, and either of the Chinese languages or Japanese because they may become quite useful after Brexit.

Please can we ban this app, they keep spamming it here and the coupon isn’t to make it free, it gives you a few free sample coins and then to access the content you need to pay to get more. By which time you are invested in their ecosystem. They must be laughing to the bank because of hotukdeals
