Thanks mate, another great find
I think Python is new Java...
Is this how to make coffee

Java can still be useful e.g. Android development.

Is In that case Kotlin new Java?
Good find
Is it suitable for the beginners, or is it more for the advanced users and coders? I think I won't loose anything but still would like to know that.

If the project is anything more than a few thousand lines then a statically typed language (Java) is always better than a dynamically typed language (python).

This is my opinion, from experience, but I'm pretty confident it could be objectively proven if someone had the desire to do so.

Yes its suitable for beginners.
I always love a free book thank you op. This will probably be useful for my youngest daughter who wants to be a games designer when she’s older
I can assure you it is not possible to learn java in 1 week.
The name made me smile... Got to be deliberate.
unpopular HUKD opinion: not everyone should learn to code.

Point her in the direction of Unity. It's a games engine that is great for drag and drop and has C# under it's hood. You can literally pick it up in a 10 minute video. If she's really young, point her in the direction of scratch.mit.edu/ It's a totally drag and drop language but powerful enough to create games and programs while still teaching the basics of all languages like loops and variables.
