I use Duolingo, which seems to be working

Only the first lesson free? Or am I doing something wrong? The app is asking for £8.95 per month.

Da Iawn

This is freemium not free.

The free apps on android are good for vocab. But you certainly won't learn a language for free.

Just checked Italian and the page published in 1965 says that the pdf is pending!!!!!. Shame really as this is intended for US Military serving overs. I would really like the italian for "Put your head between your legs and kiss your xxxx goodbye"

I take it back as there is plenty of material there. I know language is ageless but reference to tape 1 side 2 and the content make it seem a little dull. But it is free!!
