We just had this delivered last week and its excellent value for money. At the time they were doing a £75 off £300 deal so we bought a stool for £3.99 to take it over the £300 mark and got it all delivered £235(ish)
It works well for us as it's not a proper corner suite to be fair. The corner part is more like a chaise type add on but its excellent if you don't want a huge corner suite blocking a radiator in.
Also it has storage under the chaise bit that isn't mentioned.
It lifts up and had loads of room underneath for kids toys etc.
Its 100% leather and it feels great and looks great too.
Hope this helps someone.

Also it is in stock too. Ours was delivered within 3 days.

I think there's various discount codes valid at the moment too.

Looks absolutely revolting but a good price, hot.

Alright if you are not on the large side and only want it to stay in shape for 6 months. Why put a maximum user weight of 110 kg? ......is that based on said person flopping down on to it or very gently lowering themselves?

Cold as you should've posted it when you ordered it, now it is £75 more then the cheapest it's been, no point posting it now.

I was waiting for the sofa 2.5 months from the homebase. Never again

Eh? I said I managed to get it cheaper than the stated 299.
But at 299 it's already its cheap.

Yeah at first we thought it looked weird. But in reality it's really smart looking. Not a floppy saggy ballon type cheap leather look at all. We only bought it to go in the conservatory but it is genuinely a decent sofa for the money. Seat bass is firm and 3 adults can sit on it comfortably.

Ha. I would never wait that long. But without knowing your circumstances it's hard to comment really.

Thats not a corner sofa, its a three seater with a permanent leg rest and you have a gap betweent he wall and the leg rest?

Scrolling down looking at the thumbnails I thought this was an Xbox One deal. The silhouette is the same

There is no gap. It's described as a corner sofa on there site.
Like I mentioned ... I would describe it as a sofa with a chaise part attached to the 3rd seat.

This is STILL AVAILABLE.
Should not have been expired.
It can still be purchased.

Didnt even know they did living room furniture. Not keen on design, but there a few others at very reasonable prices

Are home-base sofas any good? Durability being key

Been eyeing a few at local leather outlets and probably double these prices

Anyone have this sofa? What is the back on it like? Is it fixed or is it those annoying cushions you have to keep plumping up?

Theres a 10% off £150+ homebase voucher code on the Quidco website that runs out in a couple of days

Hi. The 3 cushions at the back are not fixed/part of the build BUT they are Velcro and our 2 little ones have jumped all over this and they haven't moved.

Currently out of stock for home delivery?

No. I think its an error on their page. I suspect it should say out of stock for collection.
But it is available to buy. I have tried and worked fine. It said the same on the page 3 weeks ago when we orders ours.

Nice

Poor Gringo has taken quite a lot of flack for posting this deal. Reactions like this will just stop people posting...

I ain't bothered. Just if it helps one person who might have been looking for something along these lines then it's all good.
I do my fair share of buying items that other people list do just try to out something of use on on return. Not always sensible. Ha.

Always nice to sit on a leather sofa in summer, then feel your sweat congeal and bond to the leather and then have to peel yourself off it.

Lovely.

Nope mines a London postcode so not sure why it keeps saying it.
Just tried again and still same message.

Ring them then if you genuinely want one !!!! It works for me.

Homebase and Argos (same group) have regional warehouses - things are often in stock for delivery in some areas of the country but not others. HTH.

giving it a miss - reviews are really bad for the home-base/argos furniture in general. need for main room so need to stand up to time

good old saying, buy cheap...buy twice

I would feel so bad for the adult having to sit on the end, looks awful

jinsta's almost certainly right.

This offer looks horribly similar to the Polish-made sofas on sale at Tesco a few years ago. Same arm style. Same 'legs'. A neighbour bought one - for over £500!. The back cushions - all kept in place with a velcro strip - made a noise every time anyone sat down. All of the cushions lost their shape after just a few months. Much worse, the leather colour on the arms (and all the seat seams) started to fade away quite quickly. She ended up giving it to a charity shop, but she learned a lesson. She hasn't bothered with 'supermarket' sofas since.

Well all i can say is weve had a tesco leather sofa before and its lasted 3 years now and still looks very good. Id rather pay these prices than one from the sofa centres or leather sofa shops as you pay through the nose for something that isnt always 100% leather.

We have 2 small children so fabric sofas are out of the question as at least these clean easily.
Im no expert but im the kind of person that would only reccomend something if it was a good experience for us. I think people make a lot of stupid assumptions and slate things as its easier to crap on a deal than it is to reccomend one.

Like the stupid assumption you just made there? Never looks good when a grown man appears wounded by comments about a sofa.

He started it. Lol

I bought a 3 and 2 seater set when I moved into my own place from Argos and it lasted me 12 years replaced it with a much more pricey corner sofa from furniture village and after 3 months this looks worse (sagging and creasing) than the old argos one. Im in the process of complaining to get it replaced but seems you cant judge a sofa by price (or even showroom model as the one I bought looked and felt lovely at first)
