will a finepix s5700 fit in this?? Dimensions look quite small.

No idea what size your FinePix is .
Why not go to link and read it ?

I have, thats why I put dimensions look small Mr sarcastic!

Just thought someone may already have one and have a proper idea of the size.

Thanks for your input - useless as it is.

Why not just measure it and check against the dimensions in the description. Is that so hard?

Honestly, this website - such a helpful bunch of people.

I've already measured it and it might fit - like I said, dimensions look quite small, I know what the case dimensions are and what the dimensions of my camera are.

Cases can be soft and flexible and things will fit, or pretty stiff and things won't fit. I asked a simple question needing a simple answer hoping to save myself a trip into town tomorrow.

So, if you don't have a finepix s5700 (or 5000/5600 as they are the same size) then I don't need your response.

retrogeezer, as you rightly guessed it probably won't be suitable - the case has a depth of 4cm, while the camera is around 8cm. But the overall circumference may hold it - it's not going to look pretty though!

If you do make the trip, ask them for a viewing. Don't forget to take your camera with you to check firsthand, & reserve one before making the journey.

Cheers Crossbow, I reckon it will fit at a squeeze but best to wait for something better.

retrogeezer, i have the s5700 too, doubt it will fit in this case but i got a really good one from wilkinsons for about £5, the make is kamichi and the s5700 fits nicely with a bit of room to spare, it has moveable velcro seperator bits so it holds it snug and has large pocket on the front for batteries etc.
Worth a look if you have a wilko near by.

Just check on wilko plus site: wilkinsonplus.com/inv…867 pretty sure thats the one.

wow, that looks great - never thought to look in Wilkinsons for a bag - what part of the store are they in??

Cheers

No probs. They are in the part where all the printer paper & stationary etc. is

retrogeezer, more camera cases at ]Caselogic - the medium ones should be suitable (there's a page 2 as well). Delivery is £3 extra, but they're bound to be much better quality than the Argos/Wilko ones.

Picked up a Wilkinson one for £1.99!! Smaller than the other one but seems to be very good quality and takes my camera if I remove the filter adaptor ring (which stillfits in the bag on top of the camera) Also has a a pocket on the front for batteries/memory cards etc.

Thanks again KA420 - rep added.

This is now down to £2.99 (posted ]here by amibees).
