can someone correct the url please?

superb find....cheers.

I was initially tempted by price (2 leather chairs for under £70) but after doing a bit of research on PU leather, realised it's not real leather and for the listing to not state that is apparently ileagal in the UK:

ebay.com/gds…tml

Do your research before jumping into buying this.

would be good to hear from other people that have bought PU leather but for now, "I'm out!".

My current dining chairs were sold as leather yet are actually pu leather. A majority of the leather has peeled away from the seating part. Actual leather chairs are quite expensive so personally I would avoid.

So no coincidence that PU can be pronounced as POO ?

johnboid...i bow to your knowledge...i would never have known, i will look out for this fake leather in future....cheers

has anyone ever bought a dining set that had real leather seats though? leather effect is by far the norm on most high streets

According to their description -

And from Wiki -

Bonded leather, also called reconstituted leather or blended leather, is … Bonded leather, also called reconstituted leather or blended leather, is a term used for a man-made upholstery material made as a layered structure of a fiber or paper backer, a pulp made from shredded leather, and a polyurethane coating which is embossed with a leather-like texture. Related products, bicast leather or coated leather, are made by splitting, shaving, or grinding leather to reduce its thickness, and then laminating it.

I haven't seen real leather bon chairs and any way most sofas are not!!
why the hell are you making this thread sound miserable when in fact people who already have these chairs may have some broken or need extra chairs.

Chill Sofiasar. The title states "leather". I know what leather is, and PU Leather may as well be called " fake leather".

They look like the 10 I have with my oak table. They've never split, cracked or marked and I've got two young children and have had it since before they were born. Bonded leather is fine by me. Mine are very taught and haven't sagged on the seat unit unlike some rubbish ones I've sat through at friends.
