I would imagine it's the display model

nope no doubt flogging everything they can in a last minute cash grab

'We’re sorry. Harveys is now under the control of Administrators.

That’s why we’re not taking any new orders online, but if you’ve already placed an order, this will be delivered as promised.'

i Wouldn't of recommended them 6 months of being messed about by them for a £1200 suite with two recliners

first a delay manufacturing then a delay with two right hand recliners instead of one left one right for each end of the suite then on delivery the pretty shoddy delivery guys scuffed the front door frame and part of the corner piece of the suite in the process then realised once it was in the door it was the wrong way round to turn it into the living room the solution was not to back out and turn it oh not them they attempted to turn it in the tiny Hall way smashing the head off the wife's prized ornament on the hallway unit and then scuffed the living room door getting it in the living room

one recliner was already broken and sagging on the right hand end they had to re pad it onsite a month later, they had to send someone else again to re stich the ornate stitching that had come unstiched for no apparent reason which they tried to blame us for? we sat on it apparently that can break the threads?

we complained about it all and the breakage and got refunded £500 total for lost time faulty goods and the breakage

i had the fortunate sense to record the delivery on my phone after i had found simlar issues in reviews and complaints about them after it was being delayed for the second time!

Bought a sofa from here much like this one, the first was launched out of the back of the delivery lorry, 1.5m to the floor and almost every panel was scuffed. Second arrived 3 months later, with a stain on the cushion and additional scuffs at the corners, finally received the 3rd one a further 6 months later after being told it was my fault it was late.

Dreadful customer service must have contributed to their downfall.
This post shouldn’t be allowed they went bust and customers are struggling to get orders or cash back.

@Jason these should be taken off the list of companies that deals can be posted for, really shouldn’t be allowed with what’s gone on.

Really? Wow. Might pop down to the local to see if I can find any bargains.

So it was empty even with the sale? Or empty of stock? Has the liquidation happened in the last few days?
I didn't go in, but it was open for purchases. Looked pretty empty but there was a few sofas and dining chairs scattered about. That was in Bangor, NI.
Took money out my bank for two sofas day they went into administration. Bunch of cowboys. Waiting to do chargeback.
We have this sofa, had it for a few years and it's very solid and lasting very well. It's very comfortable too.

Bought 2 year ago 3+2 and paid almost 1550 pounds including 5 years insurance. They are maroon not red.

Got my massive sofa from here and had fantastic service and the sofa still looks amazing, around 8 years later.

I didn’t know about the administration, so I’m gutted!
Where is this shop

Not sure how that makes them 'cowboys'. It's perfectly normal to continue trading while in administration. The role of the administrator is to repay the creditors. The most effective way of doing that is so sell the business as a going concern and trading whilst in administration helps to preserve its value.
I'm from Northern Ireland and I was told the stores close this Sunday for good. Leave your shopping till saturday and grab plenty of bargains.

I’m sure you wouldn’t be saying that when they take your money and no sofas turn up. They took orders and money when they knew they were going into administration. Cowboys.
For info to save hunting around for the complete information on Harvey's Holding Page.

From experience Harvey's faux leather is horrible, I bought a £2000 sofa once and the leather nearly completely pealed after just 2 years.

Spotted this in store too, must be same store lol.
Sat on it and it’s a cheap basic sofa to do the job for 3 years

You must be off your rocket if you think sofas will be turning up. I have heard nothing from them not even a email. Only found out on social media they had gone into administration. Does that sound like I’ll be getting my sofas delivered in the 27 week delivery window.

Yes, it does. That's precisely why you have heard nothing. Nothing has changed with your order so there is nothing to inform you of.

The sofa wasn’t comfortable. It’s ok for salons etc
I wouldn't advise to buy from Harvey's either. I was still awaiting a dining table ordered in February until last week when after a week of ringing and awaiting callbacks I finally got through to cancel it. Even then I have to wait for someone else to ring me back to refund my deposit so am currently getting my bank to try and retrieve it

Two words "credit card"
Can someone in authority in HUKD use their management powers and REMOVE THIS FROM THE LISTING AND SEARCH RESULTS.

All that happens when you click the Get Deal button is that it says Harveys are in administration, so no way to purchase anything.

We all know that HUKD searches are posterior apparel (pants for those that need translation).

But this is taking irritating members, to the exteme.

Or is it just me?
