What is Sim only?
SIM only is just that, where you only pay for the minutes, texts, and data you use on your sim-card.
You will have to supply your own device i.e phone/tablet to insert the sim-card into, hence why it's called 'sim only'

No, the 100 international minutes applies to phoning the USA from home in the UK but the roaming is only EU and India.
Vodafone
Remember that you need a new email address for every account, and cannot use it more than once
Net Neutrality. You can use the data from any SIM in any device you wish.
Vodafone signal isn't great where I am at best now, and it seems like you are getting second tier service with this MVNO.
Moved to BT using a SIMO deal I got through my Full Fibre 900 and resolved download issues.
Worth checking out for the money but would advise you to try the temporary number for signal before porting over your own number and cancelling your old contract (like I learned the hard way )
I called CS number 4 days ago and waited 35 minutes before giving-up and trying online chat but the was no-one available so I sent an email to care@lebara-mobile.co.uk and still haven't heard back. May I ask how you contacted CS?
I used the online chat. Had to wait about 10 mins despite being 6th in the queue, but the guy I dealt with was great, with no implication of script reading
If you do not have any other active SIM where you can port your existing number you will have to buy a plan at other operator's to port number there.
Now Smarty offers lowest price (apart from this Lebara offer) for the new plan. It's only 3,50.
I think the questioner wants recommendations!
You'll need to port to a different network taking your number with you. Then port back to Lebara - I think you'll have to use a different email address. Someone please confirm the last bit. Thanks!
I haven't taken up this specific offer but I did with another offer at the end of February: 15GB (£10 plan) and the first 3 months were supposed to be at £3.99, on the second month they charged the full £10. From reading other Lebara deals & offer posts it looks like it's a familiar hit and miss dance with Lebara.
Thanks, link is now corrected
Free roaming in the EU & India
There is no time limit to using this abroad, but if you are out of the UK for more than 60 of the last 120 days then you will be charged a surcharge, calculated per call / text. Rates on their page. You MUST buy credit for this option. They do not take the charge from your bank. Only your rolling charge is bank deductable.
However, the charge works out to 2.5p per minute, so you might be better on a local sim if staying there for a while
Unlimited calls only to UK numbers, as are texts. Haven't tried international minutes, but my sms to my Czech friend was rejected, but I tend to WhatsApp than talk or text. Will end after 5 months promo, maybe pick up again in a future promo, though there are lots of data promo Sims around now.
Yes you can, check the website
Edit: No it wont, forget it's different for there. (edited)
it includes United States.
Thanks, I’ll give it another try.
That is exactly what should be done.
Should do its free roaming in the EU and India.
Have a look at the t&cs though as there'll be a fair use cap on the amount of data you can use whilst roaming (unless anyone on here knows already and can advise)
What's an esim?
Chip inside a phone that lets you use electronic sim rather than an actual SIM card.
They don't if anyone is interested, apparently only
Vodafone, EE,O2 and virgin do in the UK currently
Any recommendations to which other provider to port to so that I can port back?
Thanks
You don't need to buy any plans whatsoever.
