It's a very good deal who want's to use it temporarily. Thanks for posting. @NUFC4
How easy would it be to cancel? Can one do it within the first month? SO that you dont pay for the second month. Ie. Put in a cancellation request on the day you receive the SIM.

Can they increase the plan for next months?
The payment website (Paypal) states that you agree to a recurring paymnet with Lebara. Phone call to Lebara confirms you can cancel the next day.
Arghh😡 just ordered 2 days ago for £5 and now it's for £1...

You could buy a local Sim while out there from a local provider. Pick up a Sim at the airport. India has the lowest mobile Sim plans, in the world.

So it looks like roaming in EU & India only then?

USA, Canada, Australia, China for phone calls. Don't know about roaming in other places.

Seems like it. Only India outside of the EU (going there next week and then the US, which is why I was interested so I will take my 3 SIM out of my router and use that for the USA)

Lyca will follow soon.. if not already...
Ideally I want to test it for Data and speeds/throughput, since am suffering extremely poor speeds in London. No one knows when Three will improve.

I also understand being a VodaCON mvno, are Lebara's speeds throttled in any way? Voda usedto do that with other MVNOs and give priority to their own subcribers first.

Anyone has further info?

[citation needed]

A pet peeve of mine is seeing people talk about how the MNO's throttle MVNO's, yet I've never seen any solid evidence that this is in fact true.

What might be true is that some MVNO's have purchased limited data capacity and that gets saturated, causing low speeds and packet loss. This is a commercial decision and I'm sure the hosting network will be happy to give them higher capacity if they pay for it.

Edit: I'm not even sure if EU Net Neutrality laws allow them to throttle MVNO's but my hunch is they don't!

Would this work, if I buy a new sim off Argos for a £1 then create an account on lebara website and choose sim only plan then as my first top up? I know sim card is free if ordered via lebara them selves, but then I'll have to wait for the delivery...
Is £1 for first month only?
Not valid in Turkey - voted cold "Turkey" ......
any idea when this offer expires - will be ideal fr my christmas trip to india
Just ordered the 5GB deal for 7.95 pm via uSwitch which includes the £1 deal for first month. The app seems pretty good to be fair compared to other providers. Will be ideal for when I go to India in the airports (although I'll get the standard 2gb per day sim when I'm out there). Only down side is that they charge for using the answer phone but I'll disable it as I only use answer phone on my work number. Also charge if I need to contact customer services but I can call them on another line if needed.
What is the promotion code u put in
