LED Capsule Bulbs G4 and G9 - £1 for 2 at Homebase in-store

Been looking for some cheap G9 (mains voltage) LED bulbs to replace the bulbs in the bedroom ceiling light, and came across these yesterday. Also got some G4s (low voltage) as spares for another couple of lights I've got.

The Orpington Homebase had tons of G4s available. Not so many G9s but a few packs still available when I left. Both types are 2W, warm white, non-dimmable.

Was looking for some G9 bulbs in our local Homebase but they'd all gone.
Toolstation sell the Philips brand g9 but warm white only... Not cheap, but no noticeable strobing you can get with led bulbs.. Bought cheep led bulbs off eBay but weren't good. I think we might see some bargains when the stores get rebranded now they have been sold.
Homebase was sold off that is.

I
Need some of these so will check my local, cheers.
Can recommend the G9 Ecolight blubs Home Bargains sell, they're around £2 but will be far better than these.

Why do you think they will be better?

Because they look like this: homebargains.co.uk/Han…300

I would imagine these have a very narrow beam angle whereas the Home Bargains G9's have pretty much 365 degrees of light output. Its so good in fact you cant distinguish them from incandescents, I have them in a couple of light fittings. Didn't vote your deal cold btw.

For reference, they are actually £3 each ( 12 for £35.88 ) and have a 270 degree beam angle

In the Jarrow store, where I purchased mine they fluctuate between £2.00 and £2.50.
