does any body know how much does a replacement bulb cost?

LED's last for a very long time compared to normal bulbs.
I would have thought this lamp would be considered a throw away item once the LED's have expired.

I know that. What I dont know it is how sensitive they are to voltage fluctuations. The low eenrgy bulbs should last also approx. 8000h but I never had any which lasted so long.

great...just reserved 2

thanks , reserved one.

wonder why only the red ones are cheap, hopefully they'll give me the wrong colour

Bought two of these with clear plastic shades over 12 months ago. Get used every day and still going strong. Great as a desk lamp clipped to a shelf or clipped to a bed headboard as a reading lamp. Regular price is £14.99. Hot

That is pretty sweet. I love LED lamps!

It's your heirs that will have to worry about replacing the LEDs, which of course you generally can't anyway. Most LED lamps I've bought quote 100000 hours, which is over 11 years at 24x7.

Thanks for posting this, lights are a problem in kids rooms, to keep costs down my daughter has been using my Apollo black diamond led lamp (dimmed) as a nightlight in her new bedroom, this is a nice alternative for her & useful when she's watching her projector in the pitch black of her bedroom.
Could anyone who's already got one confirm whether it's got a power sucking "wall wart" or similar?

Comes with a conventional 13 amp socket power transformer. I'm at work at the mo, so cant tell you the rating. Only gets luke warm and the led's are always cool to the touch, so i guess power consumption is v low.

Save money, make her sleep in the dark

Babies aren't afraid of the dark. It's just our fears as adults (via ghost stories, etc) that cause children to be scared in the dark.

Thanks Topazz for taking time to reply, she'll be chuffed, keeps waking up early & banging her toes in the dark as she's so far away from the lightswitch, i'll be having to sneak in now & catch her late night reading ..should never have taught her!

Got the last 2 at Peterborough, great little lamps throw a very good amount of light across the page / room, wiring very flimsy (i'll upgrade it if need be)
Worth £4.99 punt, but not £14.99.

Hope they last as it's already got some hours on it!
