this is twice as powerful as police tech led lenser i have one and you'll be hard pressed to find a better torch cheapest this has been
Incredibly bright (200 lumens)
Advanced focus system
Spot to flood beam can be operated with one hand
Quick-Cycle switch system
Touch for maximum light, click for high light, click again for low

The same incredible combination of brightness and size as the P7, a tactical style, and LED Lenser's new speed-focus technology. The perfect torch? Quite possibly! With an advanced Focus System for quick conversion from spot to flood beam, and a one handed speed focus system that makes control simple. LEDs offer many advantages over conventional incandescent bulbs. They are incredibly energy efficient, longer lasting, more compact and more durable. Led Lenser’s reflector tubes are lined with Italian crystal and precisely shaped to pump up the light produced by the LED for a broader and more powerful beam.

The Prism Reflector System on the Led Lenser V6 6 Chip White Light solves the traditional problem with LEDS: intense up-close, but lacking beam depth and distance. This patented system harnesses each LEDs power and drives it forward in a beam like traditional incandescent torches but with all the advantages of LED technology. It features 24-carat gold contacts, a superior electrical conductor which minimises energy lost at the contact points and maximises energy that goes into light production, plus solid metal casings where most competitors would have plastic. Led Lenser use only the highest wattage and the finest quality LEDs and laboratory test our lights to determine precise milliwatt output.

Great torches!

It's cool because it makes me feel almost as if I have a gun.

200 lumens seems a long way off what you can get for the same money from dealextreme.

The torch I have was about £25 and the manufacturer claims 900 lumens at max brightness (I believe that's exaggerated and in use it's something like 480).

Also remember you're not supposed to use rechargeable batteries with these.

Ordered, thanks OP

oh look, someones already mentioned dealextreme within first 5 comments...yawnnnnn

Anyone know how does the quality of this one compare with the deal extreme torches?, they've got one at 900 lumens for £11.31 inc del

UltraFire WF-502B SSC-P7-CSXO 3-Mode 900-Lumen Memory LED Flashlight with Clip (1*18650/1*17670)

I paid $15 FOR A 230 LUMEN CREE Q5 Ultrafire from dealxtreme and it is a brighter torch than this for a lot less money and beautifully built

Hot deal.

Worth buying the MT7 if you want to use rechargables, or want the constant light output of a regulated torch. (It's twice the price, but could make that back on batteries over time if you wanted).

Brightlights are selliing the LED LENSER M7R for £79.95

DealExtreme are full of a wide selection of high lumens torches for fraction of these prices.
V.popular with scuba divers though whether your torch will flood or not seems a bit hit and miss.

Bought one of these (or similar - maybe a model up - 270 lumens rings a bell). A plumber came round our house to check a leak in the loft but his torch ran out of batteries. I offered him this and, when he was done, he said he would be buying one and recommend them to his mates.

Deal extreme are rubbish half their torches arrive dead (not working) then try getting your money back as i have nearly 3 months now and still nothing and quality does not have any chance against led lenser

Good price but most people won't need a light of this strength, and will be fine with the P3 @ under £11;

I'm no torch geek, but I got an Ultrafire C3 Cree from DX and it's bright enough, especially considering how small it is. And I've only used it with a single AA rechargable. Only complaint is build quality -- it's sturdy, but I often have to fiddle with it to get it to turn on! Might just be mine, though.

I have an LED lenser torch and I have to say i was very impressed at the quality. They are one of those companies that don't need to brag about lumens and quibble over statistics. The lens tech makes them insanely bright and the one I have feels like it would last for years. Can't comment on the other ones. Gueessing you get what you pay for though.

I have had 4 torches from there, and a friend a further 3, and none have been faulty. One I have used for all sorts of dark work (boiler and turbine inspections etc.) and they have all been fantastic (bright, reliable and cheap).

fair point but i have to say that led lenser make the best affordable torches, better quality than the dealextreme ones, they dont get hot, last more than a few minutes and these have adjustable beams unlike those from dx

have loads of torches - about 20 from dx including the excellent mte3-2 and soon to arrive skyray 4300 lumen (manufacturer claim so wont be anywhere near that, supposedly nearer 2000), 12 from costco, 2 fenix including the superb tk40 (best torch i have by far), 5-6 led lenser, several non-battery type, energiser ones and a couple of junk maglite weapons

Will this be any good on my MP5?

only had one failure in 20 but none DOA, you may have just been unlucky, alot also wont work with standard batteries, you need the specialist protected ones like the 18650

have that one too, but whilst the ultrafires are quite well made the led lenser is better made as they are better constructed and sealed. the led lenser also has an adjustable beam, lasts longer on a set of batteries

You should consider the gun mount for the T7!

That's twaddle, a hangover from the days when rechargeables were flaky and leaky. No reason at all why you shouldn't.

I love LED lensers, their quality is superb. Great fun on foggy nights playing Bat Signal! Wish I had never bothered with maglites, they're junk in comparison. .

just dropped in price to £27.95...

edit: just saw there is shipping too on that

Thats because its OOS. Thats a mercghant price with postage

Another round torch that rolls off anything you put it on, I blame Maglight.

I can only comment on the specific torch I have, an Aurora P7. It's now in its third year of use on my bike during winter. In the darkest times of winter it's on at full beam non-stop for about 40 minutes twice a day. Apart from having to stretch the spring out a bit (bad contact was causing flickering) it's been faultless. Can't really ask for any more than that. I know it is a bit of a lottery though - the charger I bought with it when pop the first time it was plugged in.

Search Cree 5 on fleabay for some cracking 300 lumen torches with zoom - expect to pay about £26 for 2 with bike mounts

500 LED Extreme flashlight

price says £38.04 ?

If people keep mentioning Dealxtreme or Ultrafire torches then at least make them comparable. The T7 has a battery life of about 130 hours. Most the torches I see mentioned last about 90 minutes.

Available on Ebay for £30. Make an offer on the £34 T7's and it gets accepted.

Just followed link and it was £38ish confused!

That's probably 90 minutes at full power though

Was £29.99 this morning, has since risen. That's twice I've hesitated and missed out in 24 hours!

I have one and the quality is awful plus it flickers because the contacts are not solid enough. Pay more and get a proper torch.
