For those users who require a more ‘tactical’ styling to their torch the new Ledlenser T7.2 is the perfect choice. A deeper diamond shaped knurling engrave on the barrel and more defined torch head shape allow for a larger, stronger grip section ideal in the hand or mounting onto, for instance, gun mounts. The smart new matt black anti-slip finish further aids grip. All of these features are not at the expense of performance which, as you would expect of a Ledlenser torch, is still outstanding. The Boost light delivers an outstanding 320 lumens from the CREE LED and an amazing 50 hours battery life is achievable on the Low Power (still 40 lumens) light. The re-configured Advanced Focus System optics deliver a wider area of light in either flood or spot beam options than its predecessor the T7 and the new larger Dynamic Switch makes the torch easier to use with gloves on. The Ledlenser T7.2 sets the standard for tactical style illumination

Supplied with : Belt Pouch, Wrist-Strap and Duracell Batteries (4xAAA)

Better torches about for cheaper.
320lm for £29? 2012 called, they want their torch back...
I’ve recently bought a TH30 for under £60 and 3350 lumens that fits on your head too!!
Lumens aren't the key. I rely on torches & Lenser are excellent. They last for donkey's years & give a good useable light. Plus they don't have lots of confusing & pointless modes.

3350 that lasts for 30 seconds and ramps down to about 350lm. Get about 80m on high.even on medium at 350lm you only get 5 hours. Pretty poor performance for something you want to use in the dark.

Exactly, all the people who comment on how much lumen they can get, haven't got a clue.

Lenser build high quality and durable lights, perfect for the market they sell to.

90 seconds on boost then drops to 1275lm for 90 minutes. Or 5hrs on 350lm. For a torch as long as my finger, weighing 132g (without battery) and chargeable over standard micro USB and Ican attach to my bike or head while cycling to work I would say this was exceptional performance.
Perhaps I’m wrong and you can recommend a torch of similar size and price that can top these figures?

Yes that is what the stats say on for it. But pretty much everyone who has reviewed it say otherwise.

I would never recommend any of these torches or even lenser for use whilst on a bike, they should be banned for this style of use. If you want a bike get a purpose built one, which allows for wide beam without dazzling other road users.

As previously said, lumens mean nothing. If a 20lumen light does the jobs it's required, then you don't need any more.

I’ve been using it in conjunction with a moon meteor and it’s been great. I cycle on an unlit section of nation speed limit road so the lumens were important when I made my decision, it’s like being in a car on the boost but as you rightly pointed out this is not a practical solution with the heat and therefore time limit however high is great. I’m not bashing Lenser I have a T7 and an M7R and a little P3 but they are way behind in terms of brightness by today’s standards.

These are useless as bike light. Lenser are not way behind, they are perfect for the market they are targeted at. Police or any emergency services, security and most professional trades. They are solid and reliable with a first rate CX service.

Too many people get fixated on the lumens.

I've got 2 lensers, their build quality is no different from Convoy and similar brands. The latter will be cheaper, brighter, let you choose tint and driver if you don't want any "confusing" modes, and run on 18650 instead of those ridiculous AAAs.

Lenser tries to target this "tactical" nonsense at people who have no clue about torches. It's something for old people to buy at a petrol station..

Do you know how "security and most professional trades" procure their equipment? Lowest-bidder tendering, not quality.,

Convoy are ok for the beginner, same build as the 99p torches. Lenser only did 4 tactical style and stopped.

Their target market is the professional user, not the EDC or prepper boy crowd.

How many stores carry the 18650 batteries, should you need to go out and buy one?

"For the beginner"? I forgot Navy Seals will be looking for their equipment on hukd.

Convoy are cheap and cheerful. Sort of light you buy, if it break, you throw away and buy new one, as warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on.
