A phenomenal deal here for a brilliant little torch. Perfectly balanced between a micro letting style light and a huge light source the M5 really is the perfect everyday torch. From personal experience the micro processor is absolutely brilliant! You will take the thing with you everywhere!

The compact AA battery powered LED Lenser M5 features a micro controller Switch for high, low and strobe settings. The combination of small size and 108 lumens light output makes this a perfect light for people who want a bright light without the bulk.

The LED Lenser M5 is powered by an inexpensive standard AA battery. A titanium coloured ring around the lamp head puts the finishing touches to the trend-setting design.

The M5 is among the most economical of light sources. With only one AA battery, this torch provides many hours of ultra-bright light, thanks to its micro controller operated smart light technology, which also makes the M5 extremely user-friendly and easy to handle. +£1.95 delivery - Total Price £23.43 - This is the cheapest I have seen this torch in a long time for those interested in a great quality, reliable & dependable piece of equipment.

I use LED Lender Torches a lot, whilst other shops may currently be replicating this deal (note the above is still more expensive) this is the cheapest I have seen it in a long time. ISnt that what HUKS is for?

Micro processor torch? Hope it's i5 or i7

108 lumens for £21?! Even with chinese manufacturers' optimistic output figures, you can get two decent torches on Cree T6 for this money that will be few times as powerful each.

Cold.

Until you own a LED Lenser and use one regularly, you will not know the difference between a top quality product & a chinese alternative.

I would like to reiterate this earlier comment, noting the recent spat of Cold votes. Is this not what HUKD was invented for? This is the cheapest price in a very long time, maybe i'm wrong but you shouldn't Cold vote because its not quite your cup of tea. You should vote based on whether its a good deal or not. I vote on lots of things I would never buy but recognise its a good deal. Like I said, maybe thats just me though...

My apologies, I missed this out in the description. I have since amended.
The £1.95 delivery takes the total up to £23.42 which is still the cheapest in ages.
I did not write "Free Delivery" in the title but maybe I should have, I just assumed if it didn't say it you wouldn't expect it.

Like I said, have amended description & will include in future posts :-)

needs to be in title and deal price

Comeee onnn! With 4 torches you'd think he'd be a little illuminated.

Cheque please!!

So what I'm figuring here is that the Unique selling points are...

1. 1 x AA battery needed
2. Battery life.

The microprocessor no doubt 'steps up' the 1.5 volts from the battery to 3.3V (which is nearer what the LEDs will need)

with AA batteries costing about 8p, I'm thinking you'd have to be a real torch junkie (perhaps living on an island with no corner shops to buy AA batteries? to justify the MASSIVE extra outlay to justify!

This is akin to those who shell out thousands extra on a car in order to save £20 a year on road tax!

Haven't voted hot or cold - looks like a decent torch, but I think the Fenix E12 is a better bet for similar money.

£22.99 with free delivery and in stock.
6.5% Quidco makes it £21.50 delivered or to get it even cheaper 6.82% TCB makes it £21.42
I do note on another site that this model is now discontinued.

I'm tempted to buy one but afraid of it getting hacked or that it might come with spyware pre-loaded.

Damn it, now I've spluttered coffee down my shirt.

hot from me I owen a few aswel great 1s but not got this 1 and paydays not till friday hope its on then

Much rather get a Chinese one like this, Zoomable, 1x18650 battery (clue, about 2-3x the capacity of a typical AA). Take the lumens with a pinch of salt but this will be brighter than the Lenser. I've got about 4 from over the years and have never had any problems with any of them. This one is £5.25 inc. postage, no contest really.

where is that from? And any views on where to get a decent battery and charger for the 18650? I looked a while back and never came across a decent charger... Cheers!

The product you have referred to is the P5 and not the M5.

The M5 includes LED Lenser's patented Micro Processor Technology offering advanced functions and continual brightness. Thank you for your comment though,

I have both lenser and cree, lenser is better made but cree is a lot cheaper. Both are more than adiquate for my needs.

From ebay, just search for any combination of 1600/lumen/zoomable/cree/xml/t6 and take your pick. Depends what size/colour/style you want and some have cases or straps etc.

Batteries, stay away from UltraFire, or anything with "Fire" in the name as they are basically repackaged, recycled laptop cells. Good makes are Sanyo, Panasonic, Senybor, Torchy, Efest. They cost about £12-16 a pair.

Chargers, I've got a 2 channel XTAR charger that's good, and can charge from 12V car socket too.

See torchythebatteryboy.com for someone who knows their onions on these, and plenty of info on batteries etc.

Thank you!

I know that AA batteries are dirt cheap, but 3 hours run time from an LED torch isn't a lot (Amazon says "The M5 LED flashlight is one of the most economical light sources on the market, it uses optimal heat sink technology so it can drive our LEDs harder, getting you three-plus hours of run time on just one AA battery.")

I do like LED Lenser - of all my torches, they are by far the best quality.
