I'm not a fan of LED Lenser but this seems like a good price £14 with free Click and Collect or free postage on orders over £30, otherwise £4.95 P&P. Next best I could find was Machine mart at £19.99 with free Click and Collect or £4.99 P&P

Single AA, 105lm
Amazon reviews aren't great. Reliability issues with the switch

Single AA, 105lm

Says 25lm on both official Lenser website and Amazon.
I'm looking for a new 1xAA battery torch to replace my deceased Jetbeam PA10 (following a former Jetbeam E3S). Does anyone know of any torches available that are single AA battery and not fat like this one as I carry it in my pocket with my keys. The Jetbeams were perfect for this and super powerful, but no longer in production.

Yeh, looked up the LED used with that torch and at best, it's 1200lm. Thing is... if that person is going to recommend a torch that's more expensive, anyone and everyone could look on AliExpress for a much better torch for less money :P That's where most of those 'UK sellers' on ebay get their stock from anyways. I picked up a 2500lm torch recently from AliExpress for about £15.

What's even more ridiculous is the amount of people are voting hot because they think this is good funny old world, marketers have made a mockery out of the UK population!

If you want a torch you can get amazing ones for less than the price of this Xmas cracker toy. A tip is to aim for 200 to 2000 lumens depending on requirements, and ideally waterproof complete with a quality rechargeable battery. £10

It's usually the interface that makes those cheapo torches rubbish, often lacking mode memory and making you click through all those SOS and strobe nonsense, although I bought some good ones on Ali/Gearbest for around £15. Convoys M2 costs about $23 right now and it's well worth the money, one of my favourites is BLF A6, also around £20.

More importantly, drivers didn't die after few months in neither.

Bought these 2x for £11 and have found to be super bright, it rates it at 12k. I am very impressed, USB chargeable and have mounted onto my helmet for bike ride.

Avoid, been using two of this dont last long. Cheap small olight much better and give more light even on one battery.

1200lm only in your dreams. Guessing your 2500lm torch is more like 800lm

I've got a Convoy S2+ but I'm looking for more umpf, is the M2 beefier? Looking for a nice floody dog-walking light. The A6 is cheap on banggood right now (£13.49 -

I've a few lenser torches and they do feel nice and premium when you hold / use them.

However I've a feeling my version of this one doesn't have an on / off button, you turn the battery cap - don't use it that often as prefer the click switch

Sorry to break it to you but there's no chance it'll be 12k. If anything you'll be looking closer to 500 lumens :/
I have been using a couple of vansky led ones I got from amazon. They are currently 8.99 (for one). Comes with 3 aaa batteries and I use my own rechargeable aaas in them now. Also comes with a holder for an 18650 battery if you have one.

Says 800 lumens and probably made up but I am quite impressed with them for the money. Am actually worried that I am going to blind my dog.

A good torch is a wonderful and useful item to have.

No no, it's genuinely 2500lm :P The listing claimed it to be 5000lm but based on research, I found that the LED chip that it used was only capable of outputting a max of about 2500lm but for the price I was happy with that. Received the torch about 2 weeks later and while I don't have anything to actually figure out or measure the lumens of the torch, I don't think it's that far off of 2500lm. I would absolutely give the caveat that everyone's experience will be different and some sellers are more unscrupulous that others and while the torch is not the lumens that they advertised, I do believe it is close to the lumens that I researched before hand.

A lot on aliexpres that says 2500lm, but fake. Which led chip was it.

I now have a l1r, e3t, s1r mini baton and a s10r lll

All of the olights are great torches.

Had led lenser fail on me, also the vansky from Amazon, head torch from decathlon, but each person has their own experience
Can someone tell me why this deal goes hot yet the deal I posted with the p7 froze solid?

Is this place full of cliques or something ?

it's strange to say the least, that a "deal" of this sort is even considered a deal.
it's a ripoff.
an amazon, ebay, aliexpress, you can get a very good, bright up to 20 meters, single AA bat torch for £4 delivered.
£7 gets you a great 3xAA torch up to 35 meters.
at £12 you are looking at 100 meters blinding bright torch.
i can't be bothered to post links for you.
is as easy as type a LED torch on any of the websites and sort by reviews.
don't buy overpriced tat, buy cheap tat LOL
Eurocarparts have a 220lm for 4.99 similar type to as posted above. Zoomable made by Object

Led Lenser are no better than Olight. I have had two of those fail on me too. I work outdoors and drain a battery every night of the week so don't mind paying for quality (to an extent) I was severely disappointed in both brands. Funnily enough I have my i3 in my pocket now but the little ones have stress free lives so tend to last a long time. Olight have weak electrics all mine have failed that way.So far at least my most reliable budget branded torches have been by Convoy and my most reliable better brands have been Nitecore and Fenix

For your torch to pump out 2500lm for more than a couple of seconds it would have to be built like a tank and weigh as much (exaggeration). The torch has to be a giant heat sink to handle that much power being generated and you could cook your dinner off your torch after five minutes if it was kicking out that much heat from the emitter. Even respectable branded torches step down after 30 seconds to a minute or two and that is at 900 to 1200 lumens How big are the batteries for a start 18650 batteries come in lots of flavours and the ones issued with torches are generally sad little ones. A top end branded 3500mah battery would cost you a tenner or more on it's own. These cheapo fly by night companies re-badge cheap batteries and cheap emitters and sell them as top end kit. You can get bargains and if you nip over to the Budget Light Forum they will always have a few current bargains for you to look at and link too. China has it's 11/11 sale tomorrow and I can guarantee you that you will get a good torch for a good price then.

Oh yeh, the 18650 batteries that typically come with those torches really are rubbish - Light as a feather and usually don't have anywhere near the capacity advertised. I already had 2x good quality 18650's that I'd bought a couple years ago - both are 2250mAh with the added protection circuit which make the batteries slightly longer than the standard 18650 (cost about £25 for the pair 3 years ago). The torch I have takes both of them. The torch does get pretty warm towards the LED end if I have it on continuously for an extended time so I typically use a dimmer torch most of the time.

Here's an example of the brightness of my torch. Not the best example as it's indoors but it illuminates the hall very well.

I'm sure these used to come free when you bought a decent torch...
The olight i3e is far better . 90lm 1 aaa
