LED Lenser P7.2 is an excellent, powerful torch - I have three of them dotted around the house. 320 lm output up to a distance of 260 m using 4 AAA batteries.

The P3BM is more of a pocket torch - 16 lm over 30 m - the sort of thing that would be great to keep in a coat or work bag.

Price on Cotswold Outdoor website is £45.00, but 15% is being taken off all sale prices when added to the cart. Currently £39.77 on Amazon for the P7.2 and £13.91 for the P3BM - so you can either think of the P3BM as a freebie, or if you take the cost of it away then the effective price P7.2 is £24.34, which is pretty close to the best lightning deals Amazon have ever done for it (£23.99 if I remember correctly).

Possible 2% via TCB as well.

For this cost you can get a far better 18650 torch, the flashlight community on blf has reviewed budgetlightforum.com/nod…584 this torch. I would suggest looking at the likes of nitecore, olight, fenix and zebralight before considering a lenser because of the longer battery life and better lumen output.
Great torches but still pricey. If you don't use often remember to take the batteries out else it will leak and ruin the torch. Had this happen on my p3 and now cannot remove the battery

XML Cree Flashlight at Amazon

Loads of great Cree torches available for peanuts these days, so i don't really get why people would spend more. cree torches are amazing and can be picked up even cheaper than what i posted on amazon if you go to ebay, or shop direct from FastTech in china.
Atactical A1S - Amazon £25.99

Bought this recently, cant recommend enough. Its made by Thrunite at a cheaper price. Even includes a rechargeable 18650 battery worth at least £15 and 2 year warranty, cant go wrong!

Shizzy, that Atactictal A1S you listed above is a cracking torch for the money!

I've bought several high end torches over the years, most recently the Thrunite TN12 about 6 months ago.
I love it, bright, brilliant build, micro USB rechargeable, 18650 batteries..... All in all it's a superb bit of kit, BUT, I spent around £50 on it

The Atactictal is a VERY similar flashlight, and it's made by the same company as the more expensive Thrunite, so you're getting solid experience and quality.
Best of all, the battery is rechargeable by means of plugging a micro USB cable straight into the battery, a wonderful idea for off grid/solar charging!

If I was buying right now, the Atactictal would definitely be first in my basket, especially at that price!!

Check out this blokes Youtube review if you're unsure.....

While there are many cheaper XML Free flashlights available for those that want a budget torch, they are sold at stupidly low prices because, on the whole, their build quality will be WAY lower than the more expensive torches on sale.

The cheaper torches are often copies of better, more established torches. The manufacturers of the cheap ones don't have the experience, quality control or investment that the bigger name have.
They are almost always supplied with lower quality LED's, very poor protection circuits they don't manage battery life well, and they have nowhere near the waterproofing of the higher costing torches (most cheap ones are listed as water resistant)

While you could buy several for the same price, the quality you'll get is very rarely close.
As someone who's had cheap and expensive options, I'll only buy more established, slightly higher cost torches from now on 😁

I've not tried that one personally, but from the reviews I just read, it look ok. It certainly appears to be better than the run of the mill cheap options available.

As I said above, MOST cheaper torches are not even close to the higher end options, but there are a few exceptions out there.
